I shop at Jakes every fortnight for a range of dog treats and high quality tinned dog meat and biscuits. The owners are incredibly friendly and passionate about animals and their job. They are helpful and are willing to offer advice and helpful tips. Their customer service is next level. They frequently help carry my shopping to the car and will go above and beyond to make sure my dog has everything he needs. I recommend Jake’s to everyone I know with pets. Their selection of goods is far superior to what’s on offer at the local supermarkets and is more reasonably priced. If you haven’t visited before then please go and you will be a returning customer too!

Jake’s pet shop is the best pet shop I’ve ever been too, Matt and Beth are so friendly and helpful. Bonnie absolutely loves her drying coat. We can’t thank you enough for all the help with finding a food that won’t set Bonnies allergies off.

Our dog Jaxon has been subscribed to Jakes treat boxes for well over a year now. As soon as the postie delivers the box he knows exactly what it is and is super excited every time! The natural dog treats are great quality and the service is great. We also pop into the shop when we are able to, Beth and Matt are super helpful and friendly and always happy to see Jaxon. We are fairly new dog owners and visited Jake's for the first time on Friday and cannot believe how much amazing stock they have under one roof! I came away with a lovely Christmas pressie for our dog and some new wet food, which Beth and Matt were more than happy to offer their expert advice on. We signed up to the loyalty card scheme too and will be back soon for more goodies. Our pup Beulah wolfed her food down when we got home!

We visited today with our dog for some treats, equipment and advice, the service was 2nd to none, we spent an hour in the shop, speaking and shopping, we didn't feel rushed or pushed into purchasing anything. I was even shown how to fit the seat belt for our dog, as it didn't make much sense to me at the start. Very happy with the service, the price's of the items were reasonable and would much prefer to shop here than at stores such as Pets At Home. Will be visiting regularly, thank you.

Me and my dog already love Jakes, but when my noise sensitive dog was having a bit of an 'episode' outside Jakes yesterday, what she really needed was a friendly face coming to the shop door, calmly saying her name, and giving her a big biscuit. You don't get that at Pets at Home 😁

Quite possibly the best natural treats shop in the Yeadon and Bradford area. Can't reccomend them highly enough.

This is a lovely little pet shop in my local area , a great selection of treats and accessories. The shop owner is super nice and helpful.she was very patient with my nervous dog when trying on harnesses. Great shop definitely recommend:)

I have an extremely chewy american bulldog, he destroys most treats and toys so I came in and asked staff what was best for him, i followed there recommendation got some antlers, hoof and a deers leg and im really happy with the products. usually treats last him half an hour these have lasted a week! Plus they haven't upset his tummy in any way. 10/10.

Excellent place for all your doggy needs, as well as catering for other animals too. The premises isn't the biggest but it makes up for that ten fold in the amount of products they stock (hard to find items too) and their customer service. Highly recommended, pay them a visit and grab something special for your beloved pooch as well as supporting local business.

Amazing shop run by two amazing people who genuinely care about the well-being of dogs. Jakes is my go to place now for anything I need for Angus. The customer service, advice and knowledge is outstanding. Could not recommend enough 😊👍
