If you're up for a walk and small adventure its a nice place to visit. There are at least 2 waterfalls the second one more spectacular but not all the stairs are up. You'll have to use some skills

The Hispanola island is rich of beautiful landscape with rual rivers and waterfalls. The Jima is one of these rivers, which is coming from the mountains of the central cordilleras of the main island. The northern part is situated with the regular landscape full of agriculture for tropical fruits. The hills and mountains are still empty and wild, but the locals find the beautiful places, like this waterfall. The access from the central autopista is with an about 5min ride into the mountains on a road with good conditions. To find the right access is a little bit complicate, you need follow your gps-map very carefully. The landscape park with the waterfall has an entry fee of approx. 100 pesos per person plus the guide. The walkway is not so easy but during normal days it's like a walk in the botanical garden. After 30 min walking you get the spectacular view of the waterfall. Yes, you can have a fresh bath inside the natural pool. Also one thing all the locals love too much! Enjoy it!

Amazing , wonderful , loved this national natural park since the very beginning , the air , the ambience , the temperature , the forests , the lots of rivers makes you feel on top of the world , there are only 2 waterfalls in this right moment only available for visits , due to its dangerous ways for reaching the rests , and to be honest it's a trip you can only make under stricted supervision and with a permission of allowing you to go further , if you're a challenging character and you re not afraid of heights then this is another conquer for u to get !!!!

One of the cleanest spots we saw in the DR! We truly appreciate them making the effort to keep it clean and trash free. There was still a lot down by the water. Unfortunately falls were closed when we came due to rain. But it's a beautiful jungle and friendly locals.

Hidden little gem! Not far from the main road at all. Our guide, Nadia, was considerate and knowledgeable, and very patient with our awful Spanish. She showed us a porous rock that, when wet, can be put on your face like a mud facial! The falls and surrounding jungle were beautiful. The trail isn't smooth, with little rocks everywhere but if you watch where you're going you'll be fine. Loved seeing the cacao pods in the trees and hearing how they are harvested and turned into cocoa and coffee. Highly recommend this place.

This is a beautiful place, wonder of nature. It's like 30 minutes walking up there, not very strenuous and on the way back is easier as you're walking down instead. Water is pretty cold but you get used to it. It's so lovely in there!

The water was beautiful! The pebbles as you first enter the water are dreadful on bare feet; wear water shoes.

The falls after the death of the Minister have been forgotten and closed… The government said they are going to fix the stairs and trails but weeks and weeks have passed and nothing has even been started…
