Excellent waterfall to enjoy. Easy access. You should get directions to the parking lot shown on the map and not directly to the waterfall location. Once you are in the parking lot there is paved walkway which is leveled for about 8 minutes walk. After that there have concrete steps with railing all the way to the bottom. This may take about 5 minutes. Once you are the bottom you can easily walk up to the fall when the running water is not too high. Good place to enjoy.

Although it is a short walk it gives you the feeling of hiking in the forest and the waterfall is very pretty.

It's a bit of a walk. They placed bars on the side to me it safer and now charge for parking. Getting down is not so bad, just watch your step. Walking up the stars is a workout! Worth it though

You have to walk to the waterfall, it's a good 1 km walk. To get to the water you have to climb a steep staircase. Not suitable for people with walking difficulties. The water is pleasantly cold and clean. The surrounding nature is simply a dream. Pure nature. Definitely worth a visit....

Beautiful waterfall. It is a 1km walk down a mountain path with about 5 stories of stairs down to the waterfall. This is the first and only place I've visited that doesn't have trash everywhere. Thank you to the keepers of this beautiful place.

It’s rained a lot, so the water is very heavy. The river was high and get out to take a picture of the falls. The sun at 10 am is directly over the falls and makes it hard to see from the front, especially with the mist in the air. There is a second Path that goes up on top over the falls, but there is no railing on the stairs, so you need to be careful.

This place it's cool, and the water it's really refreshing. Don't get a bad impression of the water because it looks like it's full of mud or dirty, it really looks like that because the sand is yellow, but the water that drops from the waterfall is crystal clear, this is a must go place in Jarabacoa.

We took a couple motorcycle taxis out there today and the place was closed due to a landslide. It’s been pretty rainy this Dec/2023. So make sure you call ahead before making the effort to go to these water falls. Or any other sights in this area. Derpa derp

Wasn't able to swim. Water was a little murky from prior rains. Will still recommend it. Just a short walking distance to the falls

Lovely place to visit for a paddle. The water is brown, shallow and very cold but the waterfall and surrounding mountains are beautiful.

Great place for meditation and grounding. Enjoy the scenery to and from the waterfall.

Paid 100 pesos for parking no entrance fee.🙏🏿 The park seems to be well kept. Although there being a lot of garbage bags up in your face in clear site, it is too bad some people still manage to leave there plastic waste behind. 🤦🏾‍♀️ Saw a green snake 🐍 on my walk back from the waterfall. The fossit in the bathroom did not work and i needed to be creative when flushing. Always be prepared when it comes to your hygiene. ☺️

A 10 min save walk from the parking area. Water didn’t seem very clean, especially when you walk a bit further to the dam you can see how yellow it is. We didn’t have to pay.

If you're a nature lover, it's worth the visit. The path to the falls is nice and easy. It's not ideal for swimming though.

About 10m waterfall in the mountains, water is chilly but good for hot days. The road from city is bit bumpy, but doable with normal car. Then it's about 10 min walk from parking lot, watch out for rocks falling from mountain side. Nice walk and swim, check it out :)

Only one word; Awesome!! I’m not sure if this is a hidden gem or just happened when we arrived, but we were the only family there. I was expecting like most tourists spot to be packed. We arrived on a Wednesday around 4pm and left just before closing. There is a $50RP charge. You pay the park attendant. **Do use Caution *** the trail to the fall is very gradual for the first 3/4th. Last 1/4, it does get very steep with steps sweeping back and forth down the hill side. Total distance of the trail if I had to guess is 3/4 of mile.

Beautiful place in this time of the year when there is a high water level. You have take about a half a mile walk including couple flights of stairs down. It is worth the effort. You reach a picturesque site with a waterfall as a main feature. There is no restriction to take a dip. Best to have your water shoes on.
