Loved this theater! Friendly staff, fun movies. We watched the Battle of Santo Domingo and also learned some history in the movie. Our boys liked all of the action in Toy Ride. Great, comfortable building, great staff, fun and short movies - our family recommends it!

4D was fun! They were very nice to hand out earphones for other languages besides Spanish, but not everyone knew how to adjust volume. Staff did offer to let those people watch again.

During the cinema my phone must of dropped out of my pocket, noticed 10 minutes later and the cinema guy claimed he hadn’t seen it…. Long story short, when I get back to my hotel in Punta Cana I noticed my phone (used my Mac) was in Villa Altagracia about an hour north of Santo Domingo, been tracking it and it’s been all over the city, today it’s back where I lost it. Good luck on using an iPhone 12 Pro that is locked and erased!

Went as part of a tour of Santo Domingo. Saw the battle of Santo Domingo, which was a nice little film. Anna was great at presenting.

It was a history lesson about Santo Domingo which was pretty good. The ride itself while there weren't any issues is just dated now.

Very enjoyable experience, especially to get a break after city's heat. It is only 7 minutes. Short and sweet. The invasion of Santo Domingo in 1586 led by the English pirate Francis Drake.

Definitely worth going! We enjoyed the movies! We selected the Santo Domingo one about Drake's attack (good idea to see this movie right after or before visiting the Fortaleza Ozama), Pirates 7D and The Great Wall of China. 3 movies for 400 RD$ per person. An advice to bring a jacket with you, a bit cold inside the movie theater.

We were alone, so we could choose which movies to see, although they sell it to you like the Orlando cinemas (that's what they told us) the screenings were very good and we had a great time, although far from the ones in Orlando, the best were the one about the battle of Santo Domingo and the one about the Chinese wall, it is worth spending some time on it, clearly it is to go with children who really enjoy it….

Is the best entertainment you can actually have in the city bar none. Does not matter if you’re alone, friends and or family you’re gonna enjoy it, worth every penny.

Amazing experience! Went with Runners Adventures our tour guide Darius. Anna, our host was welcoming and super nice. We saw the movie called "La Batalla de Santo Domingo" (The Battle of Santo Domingo) with our 3-d glasses and seats shaking. The movie was about how Captain Sir Francis Drake invaded Santo Domingo in 1586. Definitely recommend checking it out!

Very cool place. Surprised to find something like this in Santa Domingo. Staff is friendly and everything in the theater is high quality. Watching the in-house Francis Drake production in the middle of the Zona Colonial is a cool experience.

The owner was really friendly and made sure that we had a great time at his 4D movie experience. Fun movies with nice effects! Good break wether too hot outside, raining or even with no weather - related motivation!

Fantastic tourist attraction to visit for the whole family. Their movie shorts tell you the story about the battle if Santo Domingo and help you learn about the island's history through an interactive and audience engaging experience. The Christmas and you shorts are great options for the youngest members of the family ( our little guy was 2 at the time).

Loved the experience! Although the image seems a little bit worn out, the whole experience is really good, specially for children and adults who know how to enjoy themselves.

Not so good quality in the short videos. The chair movements not necessarily go with the escene in the video. Same thing with the temperature of the room. Nevertheless the kids liked it. In addition to the big cinemas, this is the only 4D in the city.

This was fantastic! Love the pirate topic and had a lot of fun watching the cartoon. P.S. owners please get a better glasses for watching.

Our group stopped here as part of our Santo Domingo Day Trip excursion. While I'm not certain of the cost, the prices listed online seem reasonable for the experience. The show is only about 20-25 minutes long but it's very engaging and educational - we surprised ourselves with how much of the story of Sir Francis Drake we remembered almost a week later! The 4D experience has it all so be prepared to feel the cannon balls in the back of your seat, the mist of the ocean in your face and the tickle of either a bird or a lizard on your leg. The people working there were very pleasant and the shows were available in a variety of languages, at least in English and Spanish. As with most touristy places in the city, there is a free sample of mamajuana at the end of the show.
