I
want
to
leave
a
good
review
because
I
know
these
are
nice
people
but
this
was
not
a
great
experience.
I
reached
out
to
Zona
bici
months
before
our
trip
to
see
if
we
could
rent
bikes
for
our
family.
They
say
they
speak
Italian
and
English
on
their
website
but
that
wasn’t
the
case
with
any
of
the
employees
that
I
spoke
with.
They
told
me
they
had
bikes
and
could
provide
a
guide.
A
week
before
I
texted
to
confirm
and
they
told
me
it
wouldn’t
be
possible
any
more.
Were
they
even
going
to
let
me
know?
When
we
got
there
on
the
designated
day
they
were
unclear
what
we
needed
and
didn’t
have
the
bikes
ready.
I
also
would
have
appreciated
a
honest
conversation
with
them
telling
me
that
Zona
colonial
isn’t
a
great
place
to
ride
bikes,
especially
with
kids.
The
sidewalks
don’t
have
ramps
and
the
city
was
packed
with
cars
and
scooters.
They
could
have
suggested
another
place
or
advised
me
that
it
wasn’t
a
great
idea
with
teens
and
kids.
The
bikes
themselves
were
not
great.
My
bike
and
my
husband’s
bike
had
brakes
that
hardly
worked.
None
of
the
kids
had
helmets
that
fit.
They
also
gave
me
a
lock
that
fell
apart
the
first
time
we
tried
to
use
it.
They
also
told
me
that
it
wouldn’t
be
a
problem
to
pick
up
the
bikes
later
from
our
hotel.
Why
tell
me
things
if
you
cannot
actually
do
them?
They
told
me
they
couldn’t
do
that
but
then
we
stood
our
ground
and
showed
on
WhatsApp
where
they
had
promised
that
they
could.
They
came
FOUR
hours
after
they
told
me
they
would
come
and
our
hotel
was
angry
with
us.
Maybe
this
is
par
for
the
course
in
the
Dominican
Republic
and
i
am
just
naive,
but
they
could
have
told
me
upfront
about
issues
and
we
would
have
been
prepared.
