This was a place I’ve been wanting to try for over a year, unfortunately our experience was very disappointing. The server Alexa was amazing, absolutely no complaints there. When we told her the food wasn’t good, she immediately offered to remove it from our bill. We declined that, because being honest about the quality of our meals, wasn’t about getting it for free. The potatoes in the skillet were tasteless and not freshly shredded, tasted frozen. The eggs were medium to small sized and disappointing. The biscuits and gravy tasted processed and not freshly made. The toast was mediocre: served with a single slice of toast, sliced in half. The fruit was very fresh, but only came with about 3-4 pieces. There is nothing here that is really less than $12 and for the expense the ingredients should have at least been fresh. With tip it cost us $40 and we could’ve gotten better quality at McDonald’s. Very disappointing given the expense.

Overall experience was great!! I'm not from the area, and just did a quick search... Stumbled across Skillets. I would recommend this place to anyone getting off a morning flight from RSW! Atmosphere was pleasant. Staff was knowledgeable about the menu and quick service! Food tasted well and was very light! Highly recommend!! Can't wait to come back next time I'm in SWFL!

The staff is very friendly and kind. The food is delicious, they have the kind of Menu that makes hard to decide, you want to try everything. We had the Avocado grill tomato Benedict eggs, the Benedict eggs with salmon, the crepes, waffles, French toasts, everybody enjoyed so much this breakfast (Note: we were a party of 8) and the service was so good. I really recommend this place and will come back again when visit this town again.

Very disappointed in the food. Absolutely no flavor at all... the preparation and presentation both were very good... the service even better, our waitress was excellent! But the food left alot to be desired... this place cane highly recommended... It did not live up to the high marks it has received 😞

Great atmosphere FGCU parents weekend, Sunday breakfast. Wait was 45 minutes and was well worth it. Our server Maria was well experienced and did a great job ensuring our order was correct. The food did not disappoint. This will be a good morning stop when we visit our daughters.

The hostesses do quite a bit, glad to see the pay system has been updated to pay with a card at the table. If paying in cash, please - don't forget to tip! Love the food and the atmosphere, would like it even more if I were to be able to just rest when I'm alone. Especially as I'm sipping my still-hot cup of coffee. Sometimes they are quick to get the check when not in a group or ready to leave. Otherwise great service! All are right on the orders, always to the letter. For those looking for specific dietary needs, I would recommend that there are a few healthier options - Noreen's being one - or the standard eggs and sausage (especially with the exchange of regular sausage for turkey). So look for those inside, bottom right on the menu. Can opt out for just vegan as well, as very fresh, delicious fruits and vegetables.

Pretty good! I really enjoyed my breakfast. I liked the biscuits and gravy. Adding bacon makes it 10x better! My boyfriend loved the pancakes. They have a pretty nice sized menu.

Skillets is a delightful brunch spot known for their incredibly thick, juicy, and flavorful bacon (I want to know their supplier). The menu offers a diverse range of options, including delicious waffles and pancakes. While the wait times have been a bit long in the past, the overall experience at Skillets is worth the patience. If you're a fan of exceptional bacon and a great brunch atmosphere, Skillets is definitely worth a visit!

Excellent place for breakfast or brunch. I had the Cajun Chicken Skillet with cheese grits. I’m usually not a grits enthusiast but these really made the meal. Jaleel was my server and he was really good. The atmosphere was nice with a country feel. This restaurant is VERY clean and well kept. I would absolutely recommend breakfast here.

Food is awesome! Overall service was good, while all team members seemed very friendly our waitress was a little disconnected. Will definitely be back, everyone has an off day from time to time.

Convenient place for brunch if you live in Estero. Pancakes are HUGE and tasty. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We bring our dogs, and sometimes the wait staff is so friendly that they get a free sausage link. Overall a great place!

Great place for lunch or brunch. The restaurant was a little loud and the bar and floor were sticky but the food was really good. I had the Avocado Eggs Benedict with the potatoes. The serving was generous, I couldn't eat it all. Also, they were not stingy at all with the hollandaise sauce. I usually ask for extra, but it was not necessary here. The potatoes were very, very good. I don't know what's in them but I could eat them every day. The iced tea was really good, too. Our waiter even offered me a to-go cup of tea, which I really appreciated. In fact, our waiter was outstanding all the way around. He was attentive and always had a smile. I didn't have my glasses on, but I think his name was Jaleen. Anyhow, he was fantastic. My boyfriend and I will definitely go back.

Amazing place! Food is always fresh and always greeted with a smile, even on a busy Sunday. Our server even remembered that our son was allergic to strawberries from waiting on us before. She wanted to be sure none touched his plate. What can I say? Great people here.

Good food, bad service esp by the awful curly headed blonde male host. His attitude and meaness were uncalled for. He was a (insert expletives). The rest of the staff is generally not nice but the food comes out quick and doesn't disappoint. However, the food is not delicious enough to make up for the bad service. Go somewhere else

Me & my co-workers had just left a meeting & decided to grab some lunch. Skillets was the closest restaurant, so we decided to go there. This was our first time eating there & let me tell you, the food was delicious! Perfect big portions 👌🏼 The staff was also excellent & kind. Spoke with the General Manager there about possibly having a future meeting there & she was very helpful as well. Highly recommend this place to everyone!! I’d give more than 5 stars if I could

We must have arrived at the end of the rush, because there was just a five minute wait late Sunday morning. We had a pleasant table outside. The service was great. The coffee was okay. I love coffee that is rich and robust, and usually drink it black. This was a bit watery for me, and cream didn’t help much. My husband had a traditional breakfast (the 2-egg platter at $12.50) and I had the Avocado, Swiss, Bacon & Tomato Omelet for $13.50. No gluten free bread here, so I ordered the scone to go, which my husband later said was excellent. The omelette’s ingredients were generous, but the eggs not great; I will ask next time whether the eggs are poured rather than cracked. My husband liked the potatoes and eggs, the meat was meh. Overall I rate this restaurant OK: great service and pleasant seating was offset with not great coffee, no GF bread, uncertain omelette eggs, lackluster meat and prices a bit high given the quality.

Tasty little eatery. Next-level flavor! They have a delicious orange jam/syrup to spread on things. Definitely underrated home-town cooking. Servers were very nice as well.

This place is amazing! Yana and her team are the best of any breakfast place in Florida. The food is amazing. We have had almost everything on the menu and it is all fabulous. We highly recommend this restaurant, and go all the time. There’s no way they should ever get negative reviews.
