We couldn't really enjoy our romantic dinner for two because the tables were so close together we were basically joined with four strangers on our date (two couples on each side). We could not have a private conversation because everything was overheard and we could hear them. More importantly the waiters could not even stand beside our table so they had to reach over my husband to place items in front of me and to pour wine. I had to shout my order across the table at the waiter and my husband had to keep turning around to talk to them or to try and move out of their way when they were leaning over him. We did not have a personal experience with the waiter and this is a let down for a 'fine-dining' restaurant. The food was good but we would not come here again because we don't want to experience that again. The waiters were very good and did the best they could in that situation. Customer comfort should be more important than how many tables can you squeeze in.

Hello from the kitchen (free starters) were very nice. The fishes were not to soft or hard, also delicious! Only that we waited too long to the main dishes..

The food is very very delicious. We arrived shortly before their lunch break but the staff was very professional and friendly.

A lovely French restaurant with an interesting menu including frog legs!! The food in general was quite amazing, the only criticism is that staff should be more strict about covid-19 rules and should not work if having symptoms of a cold!

Excellent place, delicious French cousins with great customer service. The staff was great to help to choose the right options. French experience, was able to have a 2 1/2 hours dinner. Great starter on the house (Feigenseft) I think. Is a celery paste that is delicious. This is a €€€ restaurant, so don’t be surprise on the bill, but believe me is worthy.

Best French food in Bonn. Comfortable environment, good service and nice wine. Definitely worth trying.

Great food, awful service. We waited for our food for an hour. Upon asking when we could expect our dishes (at this time we were starving!), we were told (very arrogantly) that we have in fact only waited 50 minutes and that is the normal time that it takes for the food to arrive. As guests, we were not taken seriously and it was suggested that it is our own fault if we consider waiting 1 hour for 3 dishes as too long. I have never experienced such rude service and guest shaming before. Its a real shame as the food was great. Hopefully this kind of service was an exception and not the rule.

The start was so perfect but at the end sooo low.. did my 44€ wine service all by myself..The food is sooo good but cold😬

The food itself is exceptional well balanced. The menue comes with a fair price and you taste the love from the chef and his appreciation for each ingredient. The service is fine but sometimes a bit slow. But I experienced that in other French restaurants as well. I guess it's more a cultural thing. The only thing I might criticize is the bread. It's kind of contradictive that the only food which didn't meat our standards is the very low quality of bread served with the dishes. Another thing I experienced in Paris during fine dining. I don't know if that's a French thing as well, but I would wish they could serve a higher quality of baguette than they do... The owners are very polite and open for a talk if you feel like it. It's the second time we've been there and I'm sure it's not the last time.

One of the best restaurants in central Bonn. Very good food and service with a relaxed atmosphere. Not cheap, but the lunch menu is excellent value for money and the quality still high.

One of the best restaurants in the larger area. Very informed, polite staff, very nice owner and most importantly authentic food. The lunch menus are amazing price/value and the desserts are out of this world. Menu changes every few months, lunch menu changes weekly, if you are searching for a good time, this is the place!
