This
was
an
extraordinary
experience,
both
food
and
service.
We
arrived
way
too
early,
in
the
rain,
before
the
restaurant
opened.
We
were
warmly
welcomed
inside
anyway,
seated,
and
offered
mineral
water,
multilingual
menus,
and
the
wine
list
to
review
until
the
staff
had
eaten
and
the
restaurant
formally
opened.
Then
it
was
pure
magic...
six
courses...
plus
amuse...
each
one
interesting
and
inventive.
Enhanced
with
a
terrific
local
Pinot
Noir.
The
service
was
attentive,
but
not
hovering.
And
we
were
able
to
finish
in
time
to
get
to
a
concert
without
feeling
rushed.
And
the
bill?
Not
small,
but
half
what
I
would
pay
for
not
as
good
in
NYC.
