I have been with my wife in this restaurant in Bonn and we really enjoyed a lot. The ambient is very warm and the service very nice.The location of the restaurant is well located and very easy to find, not far from city center. There is even a terrace where you can enjoy sunny days. The food was very tasty, real Italian taste and very well presented. The service was fast, we didn't have to wait a lot even the restaurant was full. We had the opportunity to talk with the chef too who is one of the owners of the restaurants. He told us about his long experience in Italy and that he study management because he wanted to open his own restaurant. We will come back for sure and I really recommend this restaurant if you want real Italian food and a warm ambient to relax !

I have visited Bonn and I went to this cosy and warm restaurant. The food is made with a lot of love and its incredibly tasty! The people there do anything to make you feel comfortable. So if you like italian food: Dont miss this great place! :-)

Great service, food and prices. Wow. ❤ Recommended by a local Italian and she was 100% correct. This is a well established local restaurant, out of the tourist areas (but easily accessible) and the value for money I experienced was amazing. 110% great service. I had the Salmon fillet in the hazelnut, almond and sesame crust. (Lachsfilet in einer Haselnuss-Mandel-Sesam-Kruste.) I'll be coming back here.

Perfect service even 10 minutes for closing the gourmet kitchen (10 pm). Fresh asparagus from Bornheim is still available until the end of June.

You know the feeling, when you have been in several restaurants in your life, simple, sophisticated, expensive, cheap and you find a restaurant you want to go again and again?? Well, il Melo is one of these restaurants that you want to come regularly. The nice man and the nice lady give you the sense that they will take care of you. And they do. I have been here for the second time and the carbonara is extraordinarily tasteful. It is really nice. And a few other dishes I have tried live up to the expectations. The food is really GOOD. Service is both effective and polite. Prices are logical. Very few nice places like this one exist!!!

What a gem in Bonn! It was great both in terms of food and service. The food was quite fresh and just the right quantity…we were also treated to a small starter. The staff was quite friendly and they had an English menu which is quite refreshing.

Very lovely place. Great and super friendly service. We were there at a busy Friday evening and food took a bit, but we got some antipasti on the house while we waited. The food itself was delicious and very authentic, very Italian, although they don't have pizza on the menu. Prices are not the cheapest but affordable and adequate for the quality of the food. Mega yummy desserts. And free Grappa or Espresso in the end. If you have something to celebrate, definitely a great place to spoil yourself a bit. Thank you to team 'Il Melo'!!!

I'm Italian. This place serves good quality, rather classical Italian food in generous portions. The fish dishes in particular were good. Elegant environment. Reasonable prices.
