Very pleasant restaurant, Friendly staff and good food. (No credit card !!)

Good thing is the shared bbq for 2 persons is quite authentic besides some little details. BUT the price on the menu (30€) is per person!!! So the bbq for 2 is actually 60€ what you won’t see in the menu but on the bill. 60€ for an average Korean bbq is ridiculous and quite impudent in my humble opinion. Sorry guys

Delicious food and great service! The terrace is a high plus in the summer time. They could put up a sign to identify the restaurant, though...

Unfortunately the food was not as I expected. Some rolls had a taste to me like the tuna and the salmon were from a tin. Also, a bit too oily for me. I was definitely not impressed and I did not expect it. The tables outside create a cosy atmosphere. But, I will think twice before going there again.

Really nice location within the beautiful Südstadt. Especially the outdoor are is nice for those warm summer nights. Sushi and Asia dishes are really taste. Last time I tried the salmon, which was really good. Unfortunately the soup as a main dish had not been as good.

Really awesome shushis and makis, do try their crispy fried chicken maki, it's awesome. The service was good. The two things I didn't like were the delay in getting the order, almost an hour. It's sushi it shouldn't take more than 15 minutes to make it. And that they only accept German cards, no Visa or MasterCard or any such. But for the food do try this place.

The best Korean bbq and Korean meal in Germany. i had course-menu. the price is little bit high (20euro - 30euro) but we could eat almost 20 kinds of korean side dishes and bbq, rice, and so on. we were too full to eat all the dishes in course menu. One shame is.. they do not change grill at all. In korea they must change it , otherwise a kind of bbq will be mixed with other kinds of bbq and the meat would be burned easily.

Really extensive menu that features both Japanese and some Korean dishes, and impressive sushi platters. I ordered the spicy tuna rolls and was not disappointed, and I loved the starter of the spinach balls with sesame. I found the batter of the veggie tempura to be too heavy and thick, where it should be light, fluffy and crisp. Service was good-humoured, attentive and friendly. It’s a smallish restaurant so best make reservations.

Realy delicious sushi and authentic Sake. Only decoration could be more 'Asia'. It's dark and boring. Staff ist professional and kind. I recommend this sushi restaurant

The food was great. Good service and atmosphere was nice. I was a bit disappointed about the table grill since I would have loved to try that out. The food was really quick to get to the table, I would guess that it took about 10-20 minutes which is good. Also the cocktail menu had only about 5 drinks or so which was really disappointing, but the wine list had a lot of options. Unfortunately I don't drink wine, so this menu didn't get my interest.

Very disappointed, I used to love coming here but both the quality of the food and the service have dropped massively. Just no longer worth the price tag.

Came to the restaurant, however we were told that everything is reserved and did not even offer for us to wait until a table is free. I believe restaurants should have reservations, but at the same time leave some tables free for people to walk in and enjoy a meal.

I like all the Makiman restaurants, but I think this one is the best!.

Service people nice but food not good.

About two weeks ago in the middle of the week, we walked into a virtually empty restaurant and when asking if we could sit by the window, we got a surprisingly rude and sarcastic response from the only waiter on shift that evening. Food was great yet I would not go back because of the service. Happy to share more about my experience with the restaurant manager if needed.
