Nice walk through an avenue up to the palace. If in Bonn definitely worth visiting. Sadly at the time of our visit, large parts were under renovation so we couldn’t visit more

Very big , nice park with ponds and glasshouses with lots of vegetation, must see if you like botanical stuff. Free entry and toilets.

Toller Ort!

Not sure if one can visit the castle but the garden is a real beauty and given there is no entrance fee, it is a really nice deal.with the fountains, picnic areas, benches and little ponds

Bänke in großen Mengen vorhanden. Muß man dann unbedingt ebenfalls besuchen. Sehr zu empfehlen. Top.

Beautiful Schloss! (Only spend time visiting the garden and was only able to admire the outside). Currently the front side is being refurbished and scaffolding is in place, however views from the botanical gardens are stunning!

It was under renovation, which killed the whole vibe of showing the palace. Still, it was nice to enjoy a walk through the garden (which is free) since it’s late March and it’s starting to bloom

200 year old Mineralogical Museum great for adults and kids! Hands-on exhibits and examples of how minerals are used in our daily lives were well received. Thank you! Next year 2018 look out for events celebrating its 200 year anniversary. The interiors are beautiful and the collection impressive.

The Poppelsdorf Palace is a beautiful palace that is mostly surrounded by beautiful gardens. You can visit the inner courtyard free of charge. Inside you can find the Mineralogical-Petrological Museum and the Institute for Zoology. Outside the gardens have been turned into botanical gardens for which you have to pay to visit them.

It's a nice place with a beautiful botanical garden surrounding the palace. It has a huge premise and definitely a picture worthy place. Currently under some construction work
