Tourist attraction Parking lot

👍👍 It is a beautiful place to go during the weekend. The castle is 2 kms uphill (approximately) from the tram/toy train station. The tram ticket costs 10€ per person and if it's your birthday on the day of travel you get the ticket for free. If you like hiking it is a nice way up with lovely sceneri... People often mention parking,

The entry to the castle is 5€ for students if you produce a student id (normally it is 7/9€)and there is an app available which provides one with the guided tour of the castle.

Very bad parking! We would like to pay but the parking machine was out of order. We made a picture of it as an evidence for the local government. At the end of the day we found a paper with a fine under our window. Eur 20 fine!😡 A bad job from the city government of Königswinter. Never park here! It can be an expensive experience!

Lovely ride to the top with a magnificent view over the Rhine valley. Very pretty and easy hike down (or up if you are fit). Great food at the restaurant on top. Will definitely revisit.

Good location for both, the castle tour as well as the old town centre. Prices for a day are good as well. Public chargers are a miss!

Simple open air parking lot. Spacious and unmarked. All gravel. 4 Euro for a day. Directly next to the trolly to go up to Drachenfels.

Not paved, no free days/times, payment in cash only. Packed on weekends during nice weather. But close to the hiking route and the train

There is enough parking place for the cars but we have to pay as it is city parking.

Great parking and lots of mobile options to pay if don’t have cash. Costs around 5€ for full day and something around 2.50€ for 3 hours

Plenty of car parks. There used to be a choice in a ticket i.e. one could buy one way ticket as well which is no more available. The place is ideal for trekking.
