Helpful and friendly staff round the clock, good amenities. Breakfast and dinner are one of the better ones we have dined. Pool is small and cozy Standard room we stayed at was pretty sizeable. They clean the room every day. Steer away from the butter. It is kept out long, kept in fridge and reserviced. Parking on days of events outside is problematic. Improvement tips to hotel management: (1) Please consider to add more and larger hangers to dry towels in the bathroom. (We had to use plastic hangers from wardrobe to dry large wet towels.) (2) Please improve both the internet speed and bandwidth. Wifi reception signal quality at the room was good, but speed was terribly slow irrespective of how crowded the hotel was (Thursday was not busy, slow internet still..) (3) Use pre-packed butter instead of open. Bring more butter from fridge as the amount offered is finished. (4) Offer free or improved-rate parking space to non-convention residents on days of events, or factor into the original pricing.

Had a great one night stay with my family. The breakfast had a great selection of food available. My room was in the lowest category and didn't have a tea maker but when I inquired about it housekeeping provided me one to use. The air-conditioning fan seemed to only have settings for high and low speed, but reception ensured me that if you balance the switch exactly between the 2 settings it will be off. This trick worked and gave us a good night's sleep without fan noise.

A very nice hotel, large, with an international feel, with great public transport links. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Checked in after midnight as flight was delayed, no issues. Had a problem with room - but staff sorted things out immediately, which always gives confidence in a place you haven't been before. Many languages were spoken at the check-in desk. Breakfast was included in our rate and was fantastic. There are plenty of public seating areas to relax and enjoy a coffee or cocktail. Left luggage facility in a locked room at reception , very secure. They do have a pool, but never used it as we were busy enjoying Bonn and Cologne and villages along the Rhine. Hotel is a short walk to a lovely large park. So much to see and do. An excellent hotel. Would return.

The hotel was really on top notch clean ,the staffs were super friendly my son really enjoyed the pool .omg the food is excellent very tasty 😋 Any time I would visit bonn that’s my hotel 🏨

Positive: Room very nice and comfortable. I love the shower, you can select manually the water temperature. 2 saunas and nice swimming pool. Negative: the gym is absolutely a joke. They do not have dumbbells, just do not show you offer a gym because that one is not. Breakfast is very poor for a 4 star hotel and for the price you are asking The sauna entrance cost 5 euros. First time I see that guests need to pay for the sauna in the hotel where they stay

Haven't stayed at the hotel but I needed help and the staff were amazing, the lady printed some papers for me and was very patient. I wasn't a customer, imagine if I were.

Very nice hotel, easy to reach with the subway. We went for a relaxing weekend and we couldn't have chosen better. Pool and sauna were clean, breakfast was great ( a lot of choice!), and the personal was really professional. We even got an upgrade and they gave us a bigger room, which was very clean and comfortable. 5 stars earned!

Very nice big hotel in very comfortable part of city. Perfect breakfast! They even have big choice of tea from leaves and a lot of red fish!!! Also they have hard Matratzen and big room (even in cheapest rate)… U-Bahn is near, and once we have walk to UN campus bei fuss I will return! As it is best for business trip

Unfortunately I’m unhappy because my room did not have a coffee machine and my dog for which I paid 25euro per night didn’t get anything included. The friends I travelled with booked the same type of room and their room was prepared for the dog and they had a coffee machine with capsules.

The main problem was not finding my booking. Passed midnight, is not nice to think for half an hour that you have no room, despite giving them several times the name, booking reference and copy of the booking, until they realised that I had warned them of the late booking. When I said the wait was a problem they only nodded. Beds are single put together, and bad. It's overcrowded. The breakfast is cahotic. There is no room service or restaurant passed 22h30. The bath is nice. Not worth the money or the stars.

Stayed here from 28.4.23 to 30.4.23. What a hotel. We had a Superior double room on the 6th floor. Really comfy and spacious with a balcony. Which we couldn't use as the door wouldn't open. We reported it, but still no luck. The pool is big enough for doing your rounds. That is if it's not occupied by people and children who dive into the pool or have ball games in the water. Staff at reception very nice and helpful. Breakfast is an absolute must!!! Lots of choices!! Only a short walk from the hotel is the tram station. You have got the numbers 16, 63 or 66 to get into Bonn. It will take you about 15 minutes. Would we stay here again?: definitely!!!

Overall the location of the hotel and the facilities are really great (nice pool, gym and sauna... plus the lobby and the bars are also great) The rooms were nice but old-fashioned... AC didn't work for us and the staff didn't do anything about it:( What was really sad was the staff itself... Staff at the reception and the housekeeping staff lady on the last day of checkout were very rude... Our door was outright banged multiple times between 11-11.30am so that we empty the room sooner ...even though the checkout was at 12am... My husband has asked for a glass of milk which they agreed to bring and they never did... Also, I was all alone with a child and had tons of luggage to manage.... I asked for help only to be met with a sulking face from the receptionist saying I should be ready for waiting a long time. I eventually carried it myself.... With my 3 year old helping me and she just staring and ignoring it...

Old-style hotel, with a tiny and not really taken-care-of fitness area. They have a nice indoor pool and and a garden with deckchairs to sunbath in summer, which is cool. It is far from the city center, a bit isolated, but there are always taxis at the entrance. The staff is nice and helpful, although not always fluent in English.

From reception staff to security staff rude, unprofessional and racist with an aggressive behaviour. All I did was to play the piano in the hall designed to entertain guests but As soon as I started playing the piano quietly, the reception and security staff rushed rutely and turned off the piano saying " you cannot play the piano" it was just 8pm and very early in the day. Also, as I entered the hotel to go to my room, the staff rushed after me saying if I was staying in the hotel. I asked why you would ask as I had my hotel card, he said be cause I was wearing sporty cloth and not smart cloth. This was a shocking statement. Would not recommend this hell type hotel.

I actually liked the room and staff was really nice. Or so I thought. A breakfast was booked extra under my name without me knowing it, which is very disappointing. So my stay is even more expensive than I thought and I honestly will avoid this place, if I ever have to come back to Bonn again

Amazing hotel. Very well located. The two sauna rooms and the pool are delicious. And the rooms, the breakfast and attention are very high quality. Staff is really nice!! I can only recommend a stay here!

Traveling with a coach company to this location,many of us found they where in prepared. Given cards to access rooms but no numbers and 4people had no rooms at all. Food was prepaid for but evening meals the hotel tried to charge us. Hotel opulent but falls down on service.

The hotel is near to metro. They don't speak English so well. But this is a problem to whole Germany. Very quite rooms and large. The breakfast was always OK and the people on the breakfast very polite

We stayed there for 3 nights. It was a good experience overall. The rooms are well appointed and spacious. The staff in general is nice to interact with, though we did experience some ordering malfunction on day one. I will certainly come back.

Rooms were clean. Only thing I was missing is kettle. Its pretty much standard everywhere... I was very satisfied with breakfast. Everything was fresh and tasty and there was many options to choose. Stuff was also nice, but the first day I left the invoice details so they can prepare it. Also I gave it the day when they actually printed the invoice and asked them to please double check... well somehow they still managed to mess it up. They was able to fix it, but ffs... really?

Excellent place to stay near the River. The tram is nearby to travel anywhere in the city. The breakfast cost is a little higher.

We had a very nice and warm welcome at the Maritim Hotel Bonn! Super friendly staff!! The Maritim Hotel Bonn is very well situated next to a most beautiful park at the 'Rhein' riverside. Bus and Metrostation close by. We had our bikes to go through the park into the city, a very nice experience. The Maritim Hotel Bonn breakfast is excellent! Véry clean en modern room, we stayed on the 6th floor with a magnificent panoramic view over the city. The pool with garden and sauna are very nice to visit! Underground parking available. The Maritim Hotel Bonn is very easy to reach by car and well situated towards the city of Bonn. A most recommendable hotel to stay in Bonn! Tom & Liliane Van Beethoven - Belgium

Was there for an event (FedCon). Service was perfect, rooms clean, food good. And they've handled about 2500 excited SciFi fans all weekend with a smile and fun. Only negative point is the terrible mobile connection as you simply have a very hard time connecting to your mobile provider while at the hotel if you don't have access to the hotels own guest wifi.

Terrible WiFi, service and attitude of staff! The WiFi is extremely slow so I have to use my expensive 4G roaming data. Also some cleaning staff entered the room when my friend was naked in the bathroom, preparing for shower. When she talked to the manager, the manager was like ‘what’s the big deal’ and said it’s not necessary to write on google review. We are completely shocked by the attitude of this old hotel with expensive price. My most terrible experience ever!!!

Very good Hotel, always had a good experience. Have been a guest several times and never regretted it. Recently stayed 3 nights, all great as usual.

I’ve been very lucky to have Marc Schröter on the phone when I was booking my room! He has gone above the customer service and I am more than happy with the service I’ve received from him! He is such a nice gentleman and a credit to Maritim hotel!

The staff were great. The mattress on bed had no cover, very little choice of food in Restaurant. My own WiFi was blocked so tried to use hotels but also could not use. Many times in three days the staff tried but no good. This hotel is all lights and glammer and put on for the business people and not a hotel for a romantic few days. Seems to have put me off trying for a little luxury and I think we will try apartment s in the future.

We are very pleased with the accompanying facilities that the hotel offers such as swimming pool, sauna and fitness. Rooms with bathrooms are clean, modern and nicely decorated. The service is up to standard and the only small complaint is the speed of the internet but that is negligible. Anyway we'll be back here again. *****

The hotel was nice and clean, the staff was very polite and helpful. The only downsides are: 1) the glass elevators that take forever, only 4 elevators allowing maximum 2 people each is bound to cause problems with a hotel this size - especially during checkout/check-in times. Tip: use the elevator that goes to and from the pool, during our stay this one was way less crowded (~10 minutes instead of ~30 minutes wait) 2) the pool is very (too) small.
