Let's start with the positives: The staff was nice and helpful. The hotel has a good location for public transport and shops nearby. And now the rest: The room: It has zero soundproofing. If someone is next to you, they can as well be there with you. The noise from street is neverending. The pillows are old and the filling shows it. Only one of the two additional small pillows had a cover on it. There was a minifridge in the room. Broken and with a strong smell of mold, which you could wipe from the inside with a tissue. The outlets were "safe" with no covers and the TV was at least 20 years old and the remote control was disgustingly dirty, thankfully I had a hand sanitizer so I could clean it. The bathroom: What a disaster. The tiniest of showers with a disgusting curtain that sticks to your butt. The broken shower head was hanging sadly to the wall with no way to position it. The water went from scalding hot to freezing cold and back every few seconds, making it impossible to shower comfortably. Never again. The breakfast: It was well rated in reviews. No, it is not worth the money. The baked goods were okay. Eggs and sausages were good but cold by 8am. The coffee was a disaster. It tasted like it was not the first time the filter was used. There is a bakery nearby that opens at 8 and has a decent coffee. Go there instead. On overall, I am surprised what passes for three star hotels these days. Yes, I would like to visit Bonn again. No, I wouldn't like to stay in Hotel Europa again.

They gave me an extremely hot room on the top floor. Staff was friendly and offered room on first floor but temperature was about the same. No airconditioning. After I told them I can't stay here, they let me cancel, so that's what I give them a star for. But the hotel is really not nice, rooms are quite old. It doesn't feel like a hotel but more like a hostel. I walked down the street and found a hotel with a good air conditioned room for the same price.

Most basic amenities are available and clean, LOCATION is great, staff is excellent. BUT BE AWARE THAT HEATING IN THE SHOWER IS NOT WORKING. Not good in WINTER

Very convenient location for the busy traveller. Apart from one member of staff, all the staff are very helpful and go out of their way to make the guests comfortable.

It‘s located in the center and you have a lot of attractions nearby. The room was clean. Staffs were friendly. The beds were not comfortable. Refrigerator was not working. Also the furniture were very basic. It has an small elevator but you can use for stroller.

Went with mum for business. They put us up here. On surveying reviews, I noted I wouldn't choose to stay here myself. Room was very old as was bathroom but clean. Could hear the tram as if it was inside the room. Around 9.30/10pm on a Wednesday night, we heard aggressive men outside our door/on the corridor of our floor. Fighting/yelling (?drunk). We were afraid they would bash into our room. We waited. Heard a woman. She informed us later that the men were in their underwear in a physical fight in the corridor. There was also a female. Hotel staff eventually arrived and asked them to leave. The men had broken the room door (nearly next door to us). The police were not called by the hotel to deal with this matter - we felt extremely unsafe. Evident this is not the first time this sort of activity has taken place in the hotel. We chose to leave earlier than planned. Absolutely ridiculous behaviour - especially when the staff the next morning pretended this did not take place.

Standard hotel, location is awesome and the room was nice, clean and had a good bathroom, the breakfast was standard but its staff could be friendlier. Wifi is available in the rooms but you only get a 500 mb allowance or equal to only a couple YouTube clips. That's a bit conservative

The rooms are nice and clean, the service is good, the breakfast is ok, the 24/7 service is nice. But unfortunately the rooms can get quite warm in the night, with no aircon or any other way of temperature control. And if you have a room on the front side, you can't really open the windows in the night, because the tram and tram station are simply too loud.

Room quite spacious, got balcony ( not all room have access to balcony ) location is great.

The hotel is in a central location near the new city hall. It's family run and the staff are friendly. The room was decent and clean. The shower was a bit disappointing, the temperature kept fluctuating and the water pressure wasn't great. Breakfast was decent, a good selection of cereal and bread with a selection of spreads.

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. The location of the hotel is very convenient to public transport, the supermarket and shops & restaurants. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the bed was comfortable. I would recommend room 506 for a single person. Thank you for such a pleasant stay in Bonn!

Great location great staff good value if you dont mind older facilities and less good sound proof room

A bit noisy because of the location, and shower water pressure was a bit poor, but service and breakfast was good.

Great location and great staff, the people at the reception were really nice and helpful. We also got a huge room, really nice experience!

The hotel was fine otherwise but the housekeeping took away my own hair towel while tidying up the room. I never got it back or even get an apology.
