I thought a digital hotel sounded like a great concept but it ended up being a horribly frustrating experience. Basically, for any issues (and we had many) you can only contact employees offsite and they seem unwilling or unable to fix a single thing. Here is a quick list of issues we encountered (none of which were resolved over our 3 night stay): 1. The wifi didn't work the entire time. I was repeatedly asked to do speed tests (impossible as there was no internet) and told they were working on it but nothing changed. 2. Despite emailing in advance about storing our bags before check-in, it took multiple calls and messages, and well over an hour to even gain access to the building. 3. All four glasses in our room were filthy. We let them know; they acknowledged the message and we never received new ones. 4. The lobby bathrooms were all out of toilet paper. I reported it, and the next day there was toilet paper but still no paper towels. I reported that and was told where I could go get paper towels. I responded that I didn't personally need them (as a guest and not an employee, I did not restock the bathroom). This hotel is also over a 30 min walk to the train station and all main attractions. Highly recommend choosing a different hotel.

The hotel is upgraded and looks really nice inside. The pool and restaurant were nice as well. Overall enjoyed our stay but the neighborhood looked a bit sketchy at night

The hotel is located in a quiet area. There are three grocery stores nearby. We had a room on the 7th floor, the view is beautiful, but we were not lucky, for several days we walked up to our room. The audibility in the rooms was terrible, we could hear the conversations of our neighbors. For a fee, there is good parking under the hotel, it is convenient to use it, but many cars were parked at the entrance to the hotel. We were satisfied with the cleanliness of the room and the hotel itself. Despite the minuses, we were still satisfied, maybe we will come back here again.

Modern digital concept where you check in online same as for an airline. Rooms have been renovated and there is also a laundry in the basement (not for free but professional machines). It’s not directly in the city centre but there are busses going to Josephinen station every 10 min from the train station.

Small & cosy rooms. Location is nice, but quite cost effective. Bonn hbf is nearish. Rooms are very clean and even had welcome drinks and snacks, which we appreciated a lot. Rooms are equipped with modern amenities. There are no staff on site usually, but most of our requests were promptly handled through WhatsApp chat. We could check-in easily through their app and the codes for our rooms were sent on the morning of our arrival. Very pleased to have stayed here and think of staying here again.

It was a great experience living in Numa Bona. We had spent 31 days(1st May to 31st May) in the hotel and never felt like we are spending time somewhere outside as we always felt as home. I would like to thanks Christos who is very kind and genuine person. He has helped in all possible way whenever it was required. Last but not the least, I would like to highlight the work managed by Michaela and her team. We were impressed by her leading the team on the daily basis. In conclusion, we would be happy to come back and be the part of numa family in future and also recommend people to take the experience.

The rooms were not cleaned. As we arrived the glasses were dirty, you could see Wine stains and lip prints on them and one was half full. The doors are very loud and at night we could hear our neighbors very loud.

Self-service Hotel. You have to organise everything by yourself (online check in and check out). The rooms are clean and spacious. The kitchen in the room is well equipped (just a cutting board was missing). You can get free coffee and tea all day long. A WhatsApp chatbot helps you and you can use self service washing machines. The prize is good, the extra fee for dogs and cars is a bit overpriced (each 15 euros per day for each). We would come back. It's a bit off the city center but the neighbourhood is ok and there are some supermarkets around.

We stayed at Numa in Bonn for 3 nights and I would not stay here again. The room itself is compact but very well laid out - there is a good sized bathroom, coffee/tea making facilities, a safe, lots of space to store clothing/shoes and the bed is very comfortable. However, we had 2 issues. The first is that the shower ran cold on our first day. We ran the water for 10-15 mins and it remained cold. I contacted customer service who informed me to let the water run longer. I advised them that we had to take 2 full cold showers and only then did they inform me that they would notify their team. We had no further communication on the matter, but when we got back to the room the shower was hot. Our second issue was that we were only given 1 toilet roll for 2 people for 3 days. This would not have been an issue had the 'essentials closet' in the basement not been empty for the whole day also. I contacted customer service and was advised they would inform their team. 7 hours later and we still had no toilet roll nor was the closet restocked. When I contacted customer service again, they just apologised and said toilet roll would be sent in the morning (as we were checking out). Due to these 2 issues, we would not book to stay at Numa again. Toilet roll and a working shower are basic requirements when booking a place to stay and the lack of both I felt was unacceptable.

I had some issues but overall, the stay was great. Pros: - There are buses to and from the Hauptbahnhof every 10 minutes and it took almost 17 minutes from the station right in front of numa. There was also another station that was a minute-walk from the place. - They offered a complimentary water bottle and snack in the room, a minibar, coffee machine and kettle were available with multiple tea options and coffee included, and to get more there was a storage in the basement. - The room was clean and cozy, the view was good, there was plenty of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel in the bathroom and there were extra towels, sheets and pillowcases available in the basement. - There was a laundry room and the wash service wasn't expensive. - There's a Lidl and Rewe close by for groceries. - The AC temperature in the room was adjustable unlike some of the other hotels. - WiFi was stable for most of my stay, I didn't have any problems until the last day. Cons: - The safe in the room was broken and I contacted support multiple times and they said they'd send someone but never did. - The shower door had a gap at the bottom and whenever I took a shower, the bathroom was flooded. - The sink was clogged. - The electricity went off for a whole day but it was a one time thing and they refunded the night and offered to help me look for another hotel. - Contacting support was easy and they responded quickly at any time of the day but when follow-up was needed, each conversation I had was with a different support agent so they knew nothing about the case and I'd have to explain myself all over again.
