DON’T EVER VISIT THAT PLACE!!! I booked a room for a business trip. My room is nothing as the pictures shown here. They put me in a room which is in the tower next to the gate of the yard it is a horrible horrible place. It is cold and noisy from the Motorway outside. It is the worst hotel I ever stayed in Germany. I am not quite sure if it is legal to give out such rooms. If you choose this hotel you will be ripped off. I am appending some photos to see where can they put you when you book over there.

Magnificent castle, rooms ok and full of 'antiquities'

Went here for lunch with business partners. Really nice terrace, great view, friendly service. The fish however wasn't cleaned well (still some entrails under the filet, prepared by the waiter...) and for a restaurant with this price range, that is a no-go.

Charming place, my room (nr24) was very nice with great views to the city at sunset. Service was very friendly and attentive. You will feel like a king and a queen!

I only wanted to get inside for a quick coffee and take some pictures. I had to pay 3 Euro for the parking but it was closed for a wedding event. I was not informed at the gate. I drove down and told the guard that i want my money back because it is closed for a wedding. The guard started yelling at me said no way and talked in Italian being racist towards me presumably due to my Russian accent in German English and Spanish. I said I will call the police, he yelled that he is the police and called his friend/relative complaining about me loudly and asking for reinforcement of Italian thugs yelling that his bodies control the area and the parking is paid regardless if the place is open. i am a solo female traveler around the world, for 3 Euros i have left but let me feel so frightened, so humiliated and so deceived by a person that thinks he owns this land was a first experience for me. I hope that the whole region gains some real police and citizens control rather than this Italian mafia style of treating people. I am shocked and appalled to be treated like this. It left a bitter taste of my time in German, i usually enjoy begin a tourist in Germany but I would think twice before coming and giving my hard earned money to people who insult me, take my money without providing any service, and being racist and offensive. I was scared and insecure traveling there just avoid until the local friendly population can clear those parking thugs that lure everywhere in the region it is unsafe for solo female or anyone with an accent or not Caucasian appearance.

Great hotel! Enjoyed the rooms and the hotels vibes.

Medieval fashioned hotel, good to stay for singles or couples

Attended a wedding there. Wonderful place for such romantic events. Like out of a fairytale 🌺

Amazing Hotel if the price is right! The rooms are cosy. Looks vintage from the inside. The breakfast is 15€ / occasion, if you were wondering.

Personal was very friendly and helpfull. Breakfast was also pretty much ok. I also liked that the room was clean, and the scent there was nice. Rooms are however pretty small and a bit cold, but it is not a big issue. Bed was very comfortable. Furniture was however very old, scratched, and was falling apart.

Schlechter als gedacht. Man meint, man schläft in einem schönen Gebäude. Dabei nächtigt man im Nebengelass. Halb so wild, wenn man das Gebäude mal sanieren würde. Runtergewirtschaftete Zimmer die in einem traurigen Zustand sind. Vermeindlich historisches Mobiliar hin oder her. Tapeten müssen sich nicht von der Wand rollen. Das Badezimmer war sauber und uralt. Duschen war eine einzige Katastrophe, ein anstrengender Wechsel zwischen sauheiß und kalt. Die Rezeption ist mit Glück besetzt, die braucht man aber nicht, da der Herr arrogant und unhöflich wirkte. Ein Stern für den Parkplatz und die Verkehrsanbindung.

Traumhafte Location. Man fühlt sich wie im Märchen. Man fährt auf den Parkplatz und ist in einer anderen Welt! Ob das an der Nähe zum Siebengebirge liegt?!

Location schaut nett aus... Die Zimmer jedoch sind (wahrscheinlich) im ehemaligen Kuh- oder Pferdestall.. Am schlimmsten jedoch fand ich den "Edel-Italiener"... Kein Geschmack und unverschämte Preise. 35 Euro für ein Kalbssteack mit wenig Kartoffeln und etwas, was eine Sauce sein sollte... Und dann noch der Grappa-Preis... 10 Euro für 2cl... Einfach unverschämt und never ever again!!!!!

Tolle Location, die sich besonders für Feierlichkeiten eignet. Tolle authentische Küche und hervorragende Weine!

Ein Haus, das schon in die Jahre gekommen ist, technisch wie auch die Ausstattungen von Bad und Zimmer.

Mir wurde da ein Zimmer gebucht als ich auf Montage unterwegs war. Der erste Eindruck von aussen....wow. Danach wurde ich und mein Arbeitskollege wie folgt an der Rezeption begrüßt ( wir in Arbeitssachen) : Wer sind sie und was wollen sie hier. Das fand ich schon sehr unverschämt. Ich bezog dann mein Zimmer und kam zum Fazit: Zum schlafen reicht es. Mehr aber auch nicht. Es ist klein, WLAN funktioniert nicht, Bad und schränke waren dreckig und aufgrund der Lage recht laut(auch in der Nacht). Das Frühstück ist ein sehr überschaubares Buffet.

Went for a wedding. While the food was great the service lacked professionalism and the missing coordination of the the kitchen left some of the guests waiting for the main course.

Beautiful place, but be prepared for quite a walk if you're not arriving in a car. The Italian restaurant there deserves a visit, the rooms however could use a bit of renovation.
