Ich war 2 Tage dienstlich in Bonn und bin auf das "Insel Hotel" gestoßen, weil das Hotel, was ich sonst immer buche, belegt war. Ab sofort ist das "Insel Hotel" mein Favorit und meine 1. Wahl. Es ist zentral gelegen, Hotel Parkplätze sind auch vorhanden und das auch zu einem akzeptablen Preis. Auch das Frühstücksbuffet ist gegenüber anderen sehr gut und sehr vielfältig. Die Hotelbar ist auch nicht zu verachten. Ich komme auf jeden Fall zu dieser Adresse zurück, wenn ich wieder dienstlich oder auch privat in Bonn zu tun habe. Danke an das Personal, die mir meinen Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich bereitet haben. 🤗👍🏻

It's a superb hotel with great quality food specially breakfast. It is located in the heart of city where all the shopping malls, food, restaurants and parks are nearby available

Die Lage ist echt gut und es gibt etliche Parkplätze, die zum Hotel dazu gehören. Die Zimmer waren sauber. Tatsächlich ist es so, wie man auf den Fotos hier auf Google sieht- es gibt einige Zimmer die schon sehr modern eingerichtet sind und andere, denen man anblickt, dass sie noch nicht modernisiert wurden, wobei auch diese Zimmer trotzdem sehr gepflegt sind. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist echt der Hammer, es gibt eine große Auswahl und es wirklich sowohl für den süßen als auch für den herzhaften Frühstücker etwas dabei.

Wir haben uns rundum sehr wohl gefühlt! Schönes geräumiges Zimmer, ruhig. Sauber ! Das Frühstück war mega Toll 🤩 Wir kommen definitiv wieder.

Wir waren vor einem Jahr hier und hatten ein Standard Doppelzimmer mit Zustellbett. Das Zimmer war in Ordnung, Betten ok. Die Beleuchtung bzw. das Zimmer an sich war für mein Empfinden etwas zu dunkel. Frühstück war hervorragend. Gute Auswahl, viel frische Produkte. Top

Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Unser Doppelzimmer und das Bad waren sauber und ok. Sehr gutes und reichhaltiges Frühstück. Der Hotelparkplatz befindet sich direkt hinter dem Hotel, besser geht es nicht. Komme gerne wieder.

Der Service ist der absolute Hammer. So nette Mitarbeiter! Waren ein Wochenende hier und hatten durchweg nettes Personal. Das Hotel ist sehr schön eingerichtet! Und es gibt ein super Frühstück. Wir hatten an beiden Abenden ein 3-Gänge-Menü. Auch das war super lecker! Danke für ein solch gelungenes Wochenende!!!

Hotelzimmer war in Ordnung. Eine defekte Duschhalterung und ein nicht zugänglicher Fitnessraum aufgrund Malerarbeiten, aber ansonsten war das okay. Allerdings für den Preis sehr simpel gehalten. Die Lage war super, mittendrin in der kleinen Stadt. Allerdings können wir das dazugehörige Restaurant leider ganz und gar nicht empfehlen. Teilweise kalte Speisen und 45 Minuten Wartezeit auf die Rechnung fanden wir schon bemerkenswert.

It’s 2:00 am, I can hear someone snoring in the room next door, same person that was watching T.v. until 1:00 am. Funny because I have a hearing loss issue and still can hear those noises? The hotel is very close to the metro station, in a very calm and pedestrian zone, easy access to restaurants, and the breakfast and service is really good! It has a small fitness room with 4 machines that may be more than enough and the room is clean and has a shower and sauna. The only main issue is that I couldn’t sleep because of the snoring and t.v. noise next door, but I may be too sensitive to those type of noises.

Sehr schönes gepflegtes Hotel. Das Zimmer war sehr ruhig mit direktem Blick auf die Godesburg. Der Wellnessbereich ist sehr gemütlich und die Dampfsauna top. Das Frühstück war wirklich großartig. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Das man sich selber frischen Gemüse und Obstsaft machen kann fand ich eine super Idee. Der Service war jederzeit sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir kommen wieder!

The rooms provided are pretty good for the value. There's a TV available with local channels and also free breakfast available in a buffet style.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. As someone with 13 years of experience working in the hotel industry across various establishments, I must say that the breakfast provided here was truly exceptional. The selection and variety surpassed anything I have seen before, even in larger hotels. It was a delightful and delicious start to the day. The room I stayed in was modest in size, but it met all my needs and left me satisfied. While it may not have had any extravagant features, it was comfortable and provided a pleasant stay. Additionally, I was pleasantly surprised when the hotel kindly arranged a kinderbet for our baby. Their attention to detail and consideration for our family’s needs was greatly appreciated.

Wonderful location to visit Bonn while sleeping in a quiet place. All shops reachable on foot. Breakfast was wonderful

It has been really nice to stay one night at this hotel. Area was very quite but at the same time with already a shops and restaurants around you. I booked a single business room and was really clean. Staff at the reception and at breakfast is very kind. Only suggestion I would change the pillows that were a bit too soft :-) I would go again as there is also opportunity to eat in the restaurant that looked interesting.

I am impressed by this nice hotel! Room was very clean with all needed inside. Breakfast is really tasty with a special extra bonus - champagne) Sauna is good too, but only one space was possible and when there's a lot of people it's impossible to relax. In general, the hotel is worth choosing!

Great experience, easy parking, friendly staff, great breakfast, quiet, clean and comfortable. Very nice fitness room & sauna area. Restaurant was great, loved the location in the pedestrian zone on one side, with parking on the other. Would definitely stay there again.

***Review of the cafe/restaurant*** Very popular with the blue rinse brigade. It's obviously been staying true to its style since 1982, when it decided to hire the Maritim hotel's interior designer. Among the very dated shops and cafes of Bad Godesberg, this must be prime. Abysmally slow service. The mediocrity of the food is surpassed by the inflated pricing.

The elevator is out of service and there is no good service for moving luggage and indifference to those who come with a prior reservation

We used this hotel as a stop over during New Year's Eve on our way back to Belgium. The overall location is OK, since somewhat outside of Bonn. However, the hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are alright, spacious, but the interior design is about average. The hotel has its own parking, but unfortunately all parking spaces were occupied when we arrived. The breakfast the next morning was amazingly good....a very well-stocked breakfast buffet that did not leave anything to be desired. Overall a pleasant experience.
