Stayed in the Red Riding Hood treehouse room for our honeymoon and it was delightful! The view was lovely and the upper floor accessible via a ladder was cool. The decor in the main hotel is a cool mix of pop art and fantasy/traditional. The service was very accommodating and our breakfast was delicious! I'd highly recommend it for any couple looking for a hotel with a unique vibe.

Not what I expected. The room was barely warm, the heater was super tiny and had to turn on some fans from a panel that was falling off its double sided tape. Cables coming off the bed from under, perfect for a "dog friendly hotel" where we were bringing a puppy to. Receptionist giving us attitude while checking in because "the room was under the wrong name". Room had single sheet while we were 2; probably because we wanted a room on the ground floor as we put in the booking comments, but that was not read? Hotel felt cheap overall, would not recommend. At best a 2 star experience.

Sadly, i was unable to stay at this hotel this time around; the organizers of my meetings at the World Conference Center on the other side of town alerted me on the very day of my arrival that they needed for us to meet this evening and early tomorrow morning before formal sessions. With a sigh I booked the (predictable and also excellent but oh, so different) Marriott conference hotel, as i was concerned my jet lag might make me late to these meetings in the morning. True to form V-hotel provided excellent service, responding quickly to my request for a no fee cancellation with a most generous acquiescence. Next time, lovely V!

Amazing, as always! We upgraded to the master suite for the 1st night and the next morning we found out that all of their Baum Haus (tree house) suites were available! My husband picked the Rostlaube Baum Haus, which had an amazing view of the trees and wilderness! We loved every second of it! Breakfast was great as well! Very cool boutique hotel with fun art and decor ❤

Beautiful and quiet setting! A lovely place surrounded by trees. Small but well designed and clean rooms with some useful gadgets. The view from bed into the woods is priceless and a perfect start for the day! Staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Good size room with a terrace, excellent modern amenities, very clean, exceptionally comfortable bed, pillows and duvet, great breakfast, friendly multilingual staff, very good Internet connection, free minibar, great selection of bar food.

Magic encounters in the serene forest The treehouse in particular is surrounded by an incredible aura of magic and wonder from any angle. Inside there is the coziest warmly feeling of being sheltered and in a good plce in the world. Facing the serenity of the forest and sparks of life meet the eye, the way the sun comes through this forest is pure meditation. When the owner came by the breakfast area one morning when the beautiful dog was next to me and he asked if it was ok, I was assured this is the place that lives of good energy. Really loved every moment here. What a unique place - with most beautiful design and sustainability touches. You inspired me.

Very quiet rooms next to the forest, well equipped. The staff is very efficient and helpful. I will stay there again if I go back to Bonn.

We went on a fine summer day. Rooms don't have AC and so it was quite warm. Opened the windows and it took long time for the room to cool. Maybe a small fan could help too. Maybe they could open the windows before the room is occupied. Loved the hotel, its quirkyness, location. Will visit again

Based in the middle of the forest, and running on self generated solar power. A great atmosphere amongst the pop art culture art and deco. The bistro is great with everything cooked fresh, rooms with very unusual layout. Beds comfortable and staff are very friendly. Make sure you take your ffp2 masks as these must be worn at all times outside of your room
