Great site, relaxed friendly helpful owner, hot showers, right on the Rhine cycle route, not a lot to be had by way of off site local food but there are provisions available in a little shop on site, and bread & croissants can be had in the morning.

Reviewing from a tent. There is a gorgeous view of the mountain range and the Drachenfels, sadly only offering a few spots that are covered by shade in the morning/evening. The sanitary stations are a fine but a bit dirty every now and then. Not the cheapest. Located close enough to get anywhere via bike, but on foot the public transport connection can be lacking. Apparently others would have to play 2 euros just to visit you on the campsite.

If you are a cyclo-tourist, I advise go elsewhere. Small tent, no power, next to the cycleway, yet EUR10 which is too much. Rubbish on the fence lines, no view of the river and you are mixed in with noisy car-based campers who have lots of stuff, big tents and lots of alcohol.

In July 2021 closed due to flooding the Rheincamping site this summer is busy as ever. Suffering, however, from too low water in the Rhine.

Pretty cheap for a camping, main thing standing out is a nice view. There was generally a nice breeze and in the evening nice shade. Being next to the river is nice although swimming is hardly possible because of the current and the uneven rocks, main issue was coping with the heat during the day but that's mainly because of hot days. Showers costs 50 cents and make a weird sound but work alright. Toilets are relatively clean.

Beautiful campsite with clean facilities. Great for cyclists doing the Rhine route. Very nice owners and you can get bread in the morning!

Great site, relaxed, pay and go pick a place. Right by the Rhine. Biergarten, snack bar, friendly staff. I don't mind paying 50c for a shower when they're nice and hot and you don't have to push a button every 5 seconds to keep it on! Been before and will go again, nice for cyclists too.

Fabulous views of the Rhine and surrounding landscape for a reasonable price. The facilities were basic but clean enough - although we did have to pay €0.50 for the showers. Both the people at reception were really friendly and helpful, recalled our reservation by name which was a great personal touch.

Extremely Nice Place with Breathtaking views!! Worth Visiting and staying

We stayed here for a night in August 2023 while cycle camping. There was a very warm and relaxed reception. The toilets and showers were very clean but cramped, due to their being portacabin facilities. There was a separate camping area for tents but the layout meant that there was little privacy. There was no restaurant on site. There was electricity but very few connections. It was ok for an overnight stop but not for any longer.

This is a great campsite on the banks of the Rhine. Good facilities and lots of space. Supermarkets nearby and a 30 min drive into Bonn.
