Museum would be a strong word to call this one room full of Egyptian artefacts, nevertheless nice to visit if you are in the neighborhood as it’s small and cheap to get in (2.5 euro per person) but don’t expect to be blown away. They have mostly jewelry, some statues and a couple of sarcophagus displayed. I appreciated quite a good gift store that offered items with higher quality than what I actually saw in Egypt. Toilets available in the building, paid by cash. Visited in July 2022.

Small but dense museum attached to the university. A little hard to find but worth the visit.

The museum is located in a room at the first floor of the university of Bonn. It owns and displays items from a large variety of periods and categories. Because the museum presents items that were discovered and/or studied during its own -- the university's own -- research projects, it has the ability to provide visitors with detailed information and relevant contexts. Many of the detailed texts that accompany the items are both in German and in English. Some texts are only in German. The friendly university staff that works in the museum, however, can explain things in English and answer any question about the museum's collection because of their personal involvement in both the university's research and the construction of the collection. This is not a large museum, but it is definitely worth a visit.

This museum might be interesting to academics but to average tourists it's nothing. Very small with no big "wow" exhibits of mummies, sarcophagi, sculptures, pottery or jewelry.

It's one room museum of University of Bonn Germany. The artifacts and one mummyfication things are available to see. The kids will see the history of artifacts, coins and the miniature art from Egypt. Nearby Rhine River is there where you can walk and enjoy the river shores.

Disappointed. Nothing spatial. Only one room with antiquities.

Very small. Basically a room in university. Maps location is not accurate, have to walk around to find the entrance. For some reason there are Summerian exhibits as well. Over all half an hour walk around is enough especially if you are with a child.

Sadly no wheelchair access at all, it may also be difficult to find the entrance when walking here using Google maps. Rated 3 star because I have no idea what it is like inside. It is a shame there is no disabled access.

Awesome place for amateur Egyptologists. It’s kind of small but there are lots of artifacts to look at and read about here. The visit should take 1-2 hours. There’s also a small gift shop. Admission is only 2.50.

The museum is a bit tricky to find, but it's on the very right side of the university, and then on the first floor. Very small room, and not a lot of collections other than accessories and few mummies. The information are mostly in German, with a bit of English. The inside shop is nice for souvenirs. Recommended for all groups (solo, couples, and family) although not sure how much the kids will have haha.

Small collection of artefacts from the university's collection. Some of the exhibits could be explained a bit more.

It is quite small, but 2.5€ for tickets is fair. However, it is only partially in English, so I cannot really wholeheartedly recommend it unless sie sprechen Deutch.

Nice exhibition , the museum itself is not that big but gives you interesting ideas to think of. The mummies are very interesting but mostly it has a lot of egyptian pottery and accessories.

Nice little museum with good pieces that it’s worthy to go and pay the 2.5 euros fee BUT Should have explanations in English! It’s so easy on the 21th to make it to translate and print, show a lack of interest.
