Wonderful hotel in a great setting. Unfortunately let down by poor communication between reception staff and events team. Housekeeping team were excellent especially Barry. Swimming pool outstanding but let down by cleanliness.

Ridiculous expensive for what you get. Booked a junior suite on the fourth floor. €250! They said check-in was at 15:00 but eventually we could check in at 17:30! They told us the room was not ready. After finally getting the room and coming back for a good night of sleep I could hear loud music coming from the lobby till 00:30. Remember, I am on the fourth floor. Can’t imagine what the people on the first floor experience. Even called around 23:30 that the bass is very loud, but nothing was done about it. Then at 01:00 the afterparty started at the fifth floor. Again, nothing was done about it. The core business of a hotel, is offering a room and a good place to sleep. Got the room 2/3 hours late and couldn’t sleep because of the hotel music 😒 The place feels like a boat without a captain. Even tough I got ripped off, the area is great! Just too bad the hotel has lost its standards.

For starters the hotel reception staff wasn’t all that friendly. I had to pay the full amount plus a fee for any extras in advance. Since I didn’t have my credit card with me (I never do, I always use apple pay) they told me this was mandatory. I explained them I gave my credit card details through booking but that wasn’t enough, the amount had to be paid in full. The arrogant “manager” even said that every hotel “all over the world” he ever worked in did this. Strange thing the hotel I slept in the previous two nights didn’t, neither did the hotels I have worked in. Moving on to the room. I booked a Junior suite for which I paid 597,24 euro, two nights including breakfast. The room itself was nice and spacious. Decent size sofa and nice looking bathroom. The biggest issue with the room was the bed. This was just plain awful. My girlfriend and I both had extreme pain in our backs after the two nights we spend here. Which isn’t normal for people in their 20’s. We were planning to continue our holiday but after sleeping here we just decided to drive home since we both slept better in our own bed. It’s outrageous a hotel like this, has these type of quality beds. To make things worse, if the back pain didn’t wake you up in the morning, the light surely would. There was just no way to make the room even a little bit dark. The blinds wouldn’t shut al the way and there were no curtains to close either. The breakfast buffet was ok. Staff were extremely friendly Both days we arrived at 9. The first morning there was a nice variety, the second morning most of the warm dishes were empty and the staff stopped refilling. Also a bit of a shame they didn’t offer fresh orange juice. We also used the hotel parking. Via booking we saw this was 18 euro per day. It wasn’t it was 25 euro per day. I mentioned this at our checkout. The reply I got was “Yes exactly, the parking is separate from the hotel, we only use it. They’ve increased their prices half a year - a year ago”. The fact they don’t even change this on their website is beyond me. Too bad this is the type of quality you get when you have such a beautiful location.

I never expected cleaning services will be like that in a luxury Hotel like Kameha Grand Hotel. So poor and not worthy our money. Our room was so dirty, dust and spiders in everywhere inside the room, in addition the toilet was so dirty full of hair and dust in everywhere too. All the mirror inside the room were not cleaned and the coffee machine and glasses were disgusting. Moreover the bedsheets were not cleaned with full of hairs. I asked one of the cleaner he was on the floor to come to clean the room and bring me a clean glass but he was so rude and showed by his hand in a very rude way and left me without helping me because he didn't understand English in addition he was barefoot Cleaner. Totally unprofessional view with a luxury Hotel like Kameha. As for the location its perfect location Infront of the river. But unfortunately i expected to have a relaxing and good vacation with my boyfriend but we didn't. We will never come again because we didn't get the service we expected. Very poor cleaning staff Very poor service Very good location

Kameha Grand saved Christmas 2021 for us. Omicron prevented us from traveling to be with our family in London so we checked in here on the 25.12… it was fantastic! The architecture is amazing …foyer felt like a place out of Alice in Wonderland, the cigar lounge sent us back to the speakeasy days, the bedroom … perfect. The Christmas Menu compensated for us not having the family… and the cosy spa and infinity pool overlooking the Rhein… everything was perfect. The staff were all friendly and competent. The Champagne Brunch was the crowning finale. I highly recommend the Kameha Grand for a timeout for two.

The Kameha is located on the boarder of the Rhine, unique setting and environment. There is a lot of high tech surrounding it, a clinic, technoprac, transformed former industry buildings into nice restaurant and so on. The hotel is spacious, has a very unique design throughout. The personal is ver friendly and supportive. The bar, the restaurant and common places are all very accessible and inviting. The rooms boost a very comfy bed (personal taste), a super shower and bath combo. Expensive place, but worthwhile all over all.

Could be a great stay but couldn't sleep the first night because of loud noise coming from bathroom. At 5 am the service came and told me it should be gone in 5min. 15 min later I switched to a different room with the same issue. After that I switched to a room on a different level and the issue was finally gone. They told me I would receive some cocktail vouchers for the circumstances, which I never received. Also wake-up call didn't worked. The whole service felt like run by students.

We booked a night here for the wellness area. Unfortunately the sauna we were looking forward to was not functional. Additionally, the wellness area was full of people who were either sick or very drunk and loud. It was not a relaxing or enjoyable experience. The room and breakfast were lovely. Staff were friendly and courteous.

Stayed 2 nights in a premium room. For the overall price not impressed. Could not sleep due to loud aircon and windows were locked shut. Room service forgot to bring the correct food, when asked for additional coffee pads these never arrived, reception was super slow to check out guests. What’s good was the location at the river with a beautiful promenade and easy access to Bonn. I wanted to like the hotel but won’t come back. There are better alternatives in Bonn.

This hotel does not come close to a luxury or business hotel. During the check-in the frontdesk mentioned that the hotel got downgraded to 4* due to German law for business related stays. Hence, some of the services were diminished. However, I think the hotel cut in all the costs. The only positive thing here was that the frontdesk spoke very good english and were helpful, expect for the night manager. First of all the rooms, if you don’t want to sleep, this hotel is the place for you! They only have a see through curtain and shutters. So, it is 24/7 light in the room. Furthermore, housekeeping is below any normal hotel. No amenities were refilled like the coffee or soap. Only a quick towels exchange and making up the bed. Furthermore, the climate control is non-existent in the rooms. The bar in the hotel supposed to be open at 4 until 1 pm. However, due to an event in the city this was allegedly extended to 2 pm. From experience the bar does not open at 4 and close strictly at 12.45. The bar personnel are rude and are not interested to provide customer service. While the bar was completely packed on saturday, the staff closed the bar and wanted to go asap to their home. No hospitality was provided and the hotel and manager did not bothered to provide this or earn more money for their business. We managed to get one cocktail but this tasted to only strong liquor. While disappointed we tried to order some roomservice but the line was cut-off and this was not possible. Overall, really bad experience with non-existent customer service.

This is an expensive 3-star hotel trying to make customers believe they are in the luxury sector just because of high prices. -some restaurants were closed -there is no possibility to have something small for breakfast, they only have 1 option for 31€. If you want something smaller ordered to the room it costs 36€ -the air conditioning in the rooms is bad, there were 5C outside and it was impossible to cool down the room, the reception said they could bring a ventilator with ice, just not ok in this price sector -to turn on/off the lights you have to figure out wich of the 20 buttons that are in a panel is the correct one. Of course this is impossible at night, while going to the toilet. -it is not acceptable for a “spa” hotel not to provide hair conditioning -the spa is small and crowded -the gym is embarrassing, it’s a very small and ugly room with a treadmill, elliptical and a few kettlebells -there was no restaurant open between 11-12 o’clock …it’s not a bad hotel but they are definitely not in the price sector they believe to be: not worth the money!

Upon arrival, we found no bell attendant on duty in the hotel’s entrance that our driver had to unload our luggage from the vehicle. When we got to our room, we were disgustingly stunned by the poor housekeeping standard. We also had to request every time for a hair conditioner as it was not available in the bathroom. The shower hand mixer was constantly being detached and falling out to the floor. In a few days we were out with electricity which took two hours to be fixed. At that same night, all the lights were turned on that we could not turn them off and unluckily no maintenance was on-duty at night to fix the lights. We had a long argument with the manager to explain that we would not be able to sleep in such condition but they just kept on explaining to us that no maintenance can fix it. We requested to be transferred to another room but we were told that they were fully booked. Then we requested early check-out and a refund which then they offered to us Room 176, however the bathroom there is not clean and seems being used by somebody else. Having no option from them, we were forced to accept this and patiently waited for the situation to be resolved until the next day. We booked and paid for the biggest suite in the hotel but we would only have to sleep in a very unsanitary and skimpy room, very frustrating indeed. We hoped to get our frustrations resolved by the African manager on-duty but he was so rude and disrespectful to us. To top these off on our last day in the hotel, we requested a late check-out but they firmly insisted that we needed to check out at 12:30 pm. By 12 noon, they had already disconnected us from internet access during the time that we badly needed to contact our taxi and airport service.

Great location, nice service and facilities. We loved the variety at breakfast's, plenty of coffee, great staff. I definitely recommend this hotel. Also close to Cologne. It's close to the river so you can go for a run/walk if you have spare time.

It’s a lovely hotel, very beautiful, nice staff, great restaurant, im taking 2 stars off though for 2 problems. 1. The beds and pillows are horror, the bed is as hard as a stone so much that I was thinking to move to the floor in the middle of the night, the pillows squeeze to nothingness and the blanket was dusty and made me itch. It was so bad that we left on the 2nd night so we can sleep at home. I understand it’s subjective, that was my experience. 2. We were there on the weekend and the only way to get drinking water was through room service, i ended up paying 45 euros for water bottles.

It was a really nice hotel. Beautiful rooms, a little crazy hallway but nice for the diversity. A really enjoyable welness with infinity Pool at the rooftop with nice view. Really comming back to this place!

اذا حابب تتعتس تعال الفندق هاذ The hotel is big, that much I can say, the rooms are spacious , however, for the price its very basic. Restaurants are limited, breakfast is basic & not great . The cherry on the top was when I asked for housekeeping to do the room at 14h30 , so in order to give the cleaner a space, I go down to the reception, at 16h00 I go up, the room is not done, I see the cleaner , ask him calmly to do the room , I said that I requested it 90 min ago, he snaps at me and uses the * word !!!! I call the hotel manager, he said no one will apologize to me until they open "an investigation" and that he was not the one using the * word !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great experience! Every single aspect of this hotel and its services are perfect. Personal is top. Superior room is extraordinary, breakfast is top (quality). The Spa & the massage is great. Recommend spending a few nights just there, relax and enjoy the views over the Rhine.

Perhaps used to be good. Now shaby, many functions in room not working. Reception very slow. They reduced gym to small smelly room. Not recommended, find better option in Bonn.

The hotel was very nice with comfortable rooms and nice bathrooms, but I honestly wasn't blown away and I've had slightly better stays at other 5-star hotels. The pool is fun (it's outdoors on the roof but heated). I booked my husband and I a room to get away over Christmas for the first time since our pre-Covid honeymoon. Again, it was nice and the service was great, but not sure I would book again. The restaurant is very good and the breakfast is great.

Lobby experience, full of colors, design and music. Great to go after work or in a Friday evening. You can eat or drink design cóctel 🍹 and also listen some music sometimes live shows, you can also smoke in a private bar. Very nice service. You can park in the hotel or at the street.

Rooms and bed are ok if you don't mind their uhm... individual design. Breakfast ist really not good and for 31 Euro totally overpriced for what mediocre and limited amount of stuff you get. There is not even table service or good coffee.

I was blown away with the hotel’s room, it’s grandeur and the locations besides Rhine river. The food was also good, housekeeping guys took good care of my needs. Sophia Pohle is a delightful lady, she greeted us every morning during the breakfast with a big and hearty smile. I will definitely plan another stay here!!

This establishment was a concert hall with exceptionally loud music blaring until after 1:00 a.m. two of the nights I **tried** to sleep there (Oct 16 & Oct 17). As an international traveler I found this situation intolerable for such a "upscale" hotel.

Stayed at the hotel while at a city-trip to Bonn and the surrounding area. We loved our stay here! Check-in was convenient, fast and the staff was super friendly. The hotel itself has a really unique look. Fun architecture. The rooms themselves are great. Spacious, really great big shower, different lights, and overall very clean! One of the cleanest hotel rooms I've been in. Roomservice was very tasty and arrived nice and warm. While it arrived fast the first day, the second day it took quite a while as the hotel was quite busy. Keep this in mind. The spa is great too. Not the biggest, but everything is there. Sauna's, steam room, relax spaces and the infinity pool on the roof with a great view on the Rhine and Rheinaue Park. Only one negative point is that it would be lovely if the parking would be included with the room. Right now it is not and it can add up quickly with it costing €25/day Overall a great experience and much recommended.

I like the atmosphere in the bar better than in a crowded one in town. The rooms are very nice and recommended for every hotel lover.

The spa is great. I booked a 25 minute massage and a spa day and it was so relaxing. The infinity pool has a beautiful view, the sauna was hot and steamy (what you really want from a sauna). It wasn't too crowded so we were able to use all the rooms without having to wait. The staff are very nice and friendly, the food tasty (although a little bit pricey). We are definitely going back! :)

There were urine spots on the toilet and the sink was also not properly cleaned and clogged. The hotel is far away from tourist attractions and restaurants. You pretty much need a car if you want to stay there. But the parking is 36 CHF per night which is pretty expensive. We also called room service but they didn’t come until the next day when we asked them in person. I wouldn’t stay there again.

There were several things that added up to a less than ideal experience. So bad that I left the hotel three days early. I went to the hotel hoping to have a peaceful and restful stay. From the very beginning things were a bit off: due to train delays I arrived fairly late, after the normal kitchen was closed. The man checking me in failed to tell me that there was 24 hour room service for some items in the hotel and when I asked if I could have something delivered, he directed me to google it. I am not from the region, so that was a bit daunting, some help would have been nice. For some reason, housekeeping kept their ‘home base’ in the hall just outside my room which woke me up and kept me awake very early every morning. They rarely refilled the coffee and when they did they didn’t refill the cream and there was no way to tell which pods were decaf and which were normal. What’s more, the hairdryer was broken and although I called down to reception a few times for concerns, I was hung up on each time. Once I was lucky enough that the woman attending the spa called for me. On the weekends there is a DJ in the lobby, which is a nice touch until you try to sleep with the bass pounding under your bed. I also tried to go to the spa a few times. While it is nice, it was always very crowded. Of course, on gloomy days this is expected. What I did NOT expect was the lack of etiquette from the other guests and the staffs lack of enforcing standard spa etiquette. There were small children running around, jumping in the pool, and screeching loudly, there were groups of adults drinking abundantly and having loud discussions, also in the sauna and the quiet areas. There was nothing relaxing about the experience whatsoever. The area felt like a festival rather than a spa. All of this added up to a rather stressful experience, not the restful getaway I was hoping for. So I left three days early. Upon check out I learned that I had also been charged for two breakfasts which I did not eat- I went once asking for a small piece of bread and a coffee and was told I had to buy the whole buffet breakfast, which I declined. I don’t know how one is charged for a breakfast they did not sign for and did not attend. Luckily the gentleman checking me out believe me and did not charge me the €62 for breakfast I didn’t eat. He did not, however, offer to make sort of refund for the days I was leaving early. I suspect others may have a more enjoyable experience, but if it your aim to go for a quiet, relaxing, and restful stay then maybe look somewhere else.

Convenient for a one-night stopover. Glass building design does not cope well in temperatures over 30°C. The hotel air con, which I was told on checking out is actually a solar thermal facility, is not up to the job. Room temp on the fourth floor overnight was 26°C (air con unit said 17°C)... not a good night's sleep. Plus no way of opening the window. Fiddly lightswitches in the room. Design concept a matter of taste. Lots of dark wood, deep red, damask wallpapers. The rooftop infinity pool is nice, but tiny... more than four swimmers and it feels crowded. The breakfast on the terrace was excellent, but nothing I haven't had elsewhere. Taxi booked at reception went ok. We had no masks for the ride. Five star reception couldn't give us any either! Thankfully the taxi driver had a pack of fresh ones in his trunk. Interesting-looking bar in the foyer did not open for the duration of our visit.

Love this hotel for a weekend geatway! If is not too full the sauna is just wonderful and the infinity pool perfect looking over the Rhine River! Coffee and extras in the room could be better. Food in room service was also good!
