I was enthusiastically asking the Bonn TI about interesting sites in Bonn. I even bought the Bonn tourist map. Unfortunately, I took the bus and went to the Beethoven hall and saw the huge construction was going on. The TI didn’t even bother to mention that the site was going on renovations for some times. I could only see (barely) the famous Beethoven face sculpture and lots of banners for the future Beethoven Hall. Wish the Bonn TI could be more more helpful and informative the next time. Sigh 😔!

The hall is closed for renovation till 2024. Please update the Google Maps link as its misleading and wastes time.

The park is a good place to have a quiet time in Bonn. Near the head statue of Beethoven.

Not much to see except a sculpture of Beethoven - or if you go to a concert. But it's not far from other attractions such as Bonn Theatre, Beethoven house, or if you'd like a walk by the Rhine you can include this place as part of your tour.

Typical old school concert venue for classical music. Acoustics are OK, but the building does not exactly exude warmth and atmosphere....

Clean and fresh park for walking and cycling, in summer can host some barbeques and fishing.

And old music hall with a great flair. Sadly some people find it not worth to be restored...

Looks terrible as a garage or werehouse.... halles are good
