When
I
arrived
before
8
a.m.
(opening),
i
was
9th
or
10th
in
line.
I
was
told
that
there
were
five
people
in
line
for
a
CDL
physical
and
that
my
anticipated
wait
time
was
1.5
to
2
hours.
After
waiting
the
anticipated
1.5
hours,
I
checked
with
the
receptionist
and
was
told
that
it
was
at
least
one
more
hour
since
there
was
only
one
doctor
and
there
were
three
people
ahead
of
me.
She
encouraged
me
to
leave
and
get
breakfast,
so
I
grabbed
a
cup
of
coffee.
I
returned
at
the
hour
mark
and
was
told
that
it
was
likely
at
least
an
hour
because
there
were
three
people
ahead
of
me.
I
questioned
why
there
were
still
three
people
when
that
was
the
status
an
hour
ago.
She
said
there
were
people
who
had
scheduled
appointments.
I
asked
why
this
wasn't
known
in
the
morning
when
telling
someone
it
was
a
certain
amount
of
time
to
wait.
I
continued
to
wait
as
I
had
a
deadline
for
completing
the
physical
and
I
was
not
able
to
return
later
in
the
week.
Each
hour
I
waited,
I
checked
with
the
receptionist
who
checked
the
status
-
they
seemed
to
average
less
than
one
CDL
physical
per
hour.
I
was
finally
shown
to
an
exam
room
around
1:45
p.m.
The
person
checking
me
in
was
professional
and
kind
which
is
about
the
only
positive
thing
I
can
say
about
this
entire
experience.
She
proceeded
to
complete
the
aspect
of
the
physical
that
she
could
and
she
asked
me
for
any
feedback
I
might
have.
I
shared
my
frustration
about
the
length
of
time
I
had
been
waiting
(in
light
of
how
long
I
was
anticipating
to
wait
based
on
the
info
from
the
morning's
check-in).
She
sent
another
person
in
to
talk
with
me
who
told
me
I
should
have
made
an
appointment.
I
confirmed
with
her
that
she
understood
that
the
clinic
was
billed
as
"Walk-in".
I
finally
saw
the
doctor
around
2:45
and
left
around
3
p.m.
I
totally
missed
multiple
responsibilities
at
my
work
that
others
had
to
assist
to
complete.
I
honestly
felt
so
frustrated
and
powerless
to
have
wasted
SEVEN
hours
in
that
clinic.
It
did
not
appear
busy,
just
poorly
managed.
