EXTREMELY disrespectful customer service reps and managers. They do not speak to you when you come in and have such a high turnover that they aren’t trained or knowledgeable. The store manager Brian refused to release a delivery to me via INSTACART, because I didn’t physically have my license on me and threatened to call the police on me for not having a license ON ME, which is a traffic violation at best. I have been delivering from this store for MONTHS and have always presented my passport. I have never had a problem with Chris, the other store manager approving my passport. I was RACIALLY PROFILED while trying to work.

Standard well-stocked and vast Total Wine. Which means it has a great selection at many price points and separated by varietal, place of origin etc. The store is clean and well maintained by a friendly and knowledgeable staff. To the back left when you enter is a learning area that teaches classes about all kinds of wines and spirits

07/29/23: it was my first time here and I was surprised with all varieties of wines and beers. It is a good company and a good store in general. The staff is super friendly and hospitable with all my questions. I would make a purchase soon at this great store

Manager was intolerable *edit to add detail* Went there for a single bottle of wine for dinner, we turned around as my friend (29) and me (26) didn’t have our wallets, went home to grab it and came to the store. We were there maybe 5 minutes since we already knew what we wanted. Went to the register with ID in hand aaaand they ask my friend for his ID , obviously he didn’t have it as only one of us needed to be ID’d. The clerk refused on the grounds that he didn’t have his ID. Then the manager comes over and I’m thinking he will for sure let us go because I my friend doesn’t look under 21 and there’s no way he’s just going to assume I’m second selling wine. The manager comes out looks at the id and me and again at my friend and begins to shake his head denying us of being able to buy anything. After arguing 1.) my friend is clearly not under 21 and you can physically see that in his huge beard 2.) they really pegged me as someone who would sell wine to a minor that was in store. 3.) the manager said to “treat us like a bar everyone gets ID’d” BUT ITS NOT A BAR I literally went to Wholefoods to pick up the same exact bottle ( and guess what??? They didn’t ID my friend too ) because I refuse to support any total wine & more store ever!

Giving 4 star due to high range of stocks. I always had great experience with all cashiers, however tonight’s shopping didn’t go well. My husband, our puppy and I went to get some Beer. Our way to cashier, I walked outside as puppy was getting too excited. The cashier asked my husband for my ID at check out. Cashier said I am a minor (lol). First, I didn’t purchase alcohol. 2ndly it wasn’t even hard liquor. 3rd if that’s the daily requirement for the store for minors to show ID, please put it out where customers can see. Maybe on top the glass window at cashier? I would have totally held the lane and asked for a paper store rule as I am visiting there from 3 years and this is sudden. I may have aged in 3 years but I haven’t lost any weights. My husband had to say he’s being discriminated. They didn’t ask for his ID at all but kept asking mine even I was out of the store. It’s little offending to be called minor when you are 33 year old. Please put daily store rules up for us to see. Minor needs to present ID. Hard liquor requires ID. You can not step out of the store on your will unless given permission or have showed ID. Different cashiers have different rules. I appreciate the manager who worked 8pm shift tonight to smoothly transition our shopping.

So glad I went here and Diane was super helpful when I was standing idle about to open Google as my informant for selecting wine for a friend. She was very knowledgeable and patient. She event recommended a bottle for myself thy I enjoyed very much. I'll definitely be back and will trust her recs and palate 😊!

Been in a small handful of times , everyone has always been really nice but this experience made me write this. We had a couple people ask to help us but Alex in specific was really helpful. He was incredibly knowledgeable and personable. He offered us some whisky cider and some cognac wich were both quite good. He gave us a couple of drink ideas for the bottles we had in our basket and even gave us a paper on how to make one. :) 10/10 experience!

Nice store. However they had the affirmative action hire come in and save the day twice because who knew that both parties had to have ID to make a purchase. I love the exclusivity. Over all Bad experience as someone from out of state not being able to buy wine because both parties don’t have ID is insane. Even after I left and came back to purchase

Honestly good not bad good employee's But got a question or a debate 🤔 why is ok to take your kid inside the store to see alcohol or leave your kids in the car to go buy alcohol makes no sense that if a weed store haves no minor policy yall brake this policy to the maximum yall inducing kids to like or to see there family members getting alcohol there's no difference both have no minor policy must bee change to no kids in store because it's inducing theme to alcohol ok And drinking and driving is not illegal in wa no more due to free examples and costumers buying and keep drinking due they already have some in their system 🙃

I recently went here to purchase Glenlivet 12 scotch. I grew up in a Scottish community, so I know my Scotch and I am especially familiar with Glenlivet as it was a local favorite growing up. It, in-fact, is my favorite scotch. I purchase it for special events or as gifts several times per year. I had never shopped at Total Wine before, and I'm very disappointed with my experience. I bought the Glenlivet last week and opened it a few days ago. At first taste, I knew something was off. It tasted nothing like the scotch I know and love. It actually tasted rancid. I'm well aware alcohol does not technically expire, but the bottle I purchased tasted contaminated. I went back to the store, explained that something was wrong with the bottle, and was denied a return or any other remedy to the situation. I feel this was an in appropriate response. Total Wine has a responsibility to protect customers and provide remedies when something is wrong with a product. I'll be reaching out to Glenlivet directly to let them know they have a batch issue, since clearly Total Wine won't be doing anything. This was my first and last purchase at Total Wine. I recommend purchasing this product at Fred Meyer or Costco.

Best variety of wine, spirits, beer and ciders around. If you're looking for any local or hard to find wine, spirits, beer or ciders this is the one stop place plus if you're lucky there will be some tastings available when you get there.

Excellent experience at this establishment. I walked in & was warmly greeted by the gentleman behind the counter. He was very engaging and helpful. Highly recommended!

Everything you could generally want from a liquor store, and they'll usually put in an order for anything they aren't carrying already if you need it. The range of different beers is quite impressive. No idea about their wine selection, though, as I do not drink wine.

Tim was amazing! My husband and I needed to return some wine, we bought way too much for our wedding. Tim was so helpful, and made what could have been a complicated return, very very easy. Thank you!

Stopped in looking for a specific bottle of Port and was assisted by Alex. He went the extra mile in helping me and was clearly knowledgeable in a variety of spirits. Great customer service and knowledgeable staff like Alex will have me shopping here.

I came to buy Vodka to make lemoncello. I can't drink alcohol, but sometimes I come here to buy wine as a gift. The inside of the store is large and neat and tidy, so nice to shopping all kind of beverages. I was surprised that there were many vodka selections, but I was able to find one that I liked. Toto's Handmade Vodka! You will surely find something you like here.
