Beautiful spot for a picnic, an afternoon stroll with the family, and reading a good book. Great spot to take photos of Mount Rainier. They do close early between October and March so make sure to head there early as they close the park around 4pm. There are some bugs in the park though so I’d advise bringing some bug deterrent if you hate these flying demons.💀 Ins: blindinglightsimages

I went to try this park and it was one of the most beautiful parks iv ever tried in WA! The views are amazing and its a great spot for bbq, walk or even just enjoy the views. I honestly wish if they stay open till midnight where people can enjoy the night views. They do charge parking fees though.

If you're a weak swimmer or participating in boating, paddle board, or skiing, always wear a lifejacket. The lake has hot and cold patches depending on the weather and how deep you're swimming. Always swim with a buddy. Help keep others safe. The sheriff has been blocking the road this summer when the park is full. Come early. Please do not trespass in neighborhoods or private property.

Took kayaks to park we like all the way at the end. The good - park is clean nice big park nice kayak and swimming areas. Nice bbq areas The Bad- my son got his keys wet .with a f150 the alarm went off malfunctioned truck would not start and had have his wife bring spare key. The park has any car or truck towed away that is there Even 5 min after park close. They were hovering to tow. Lucky sons wife came with key just in time. What a scam they got going with tow company..oh and they won't let insurance company's come in and get your car. They charge 200 bucks to tow outside the gate plus a fine no mater what. So almost a 350.00 deal . Moral of the story don't get keys wet.

We try to visit once or twice a month, early in the day before it gets busy. Varies in how busy it is. Weekends, even at 8 a.m., there will be a few people setting up for a group gathering. It's just two or three people staking out a favorite location. Most mornings, it's just a car or two in the entire park. We enjoy the east end, with it's couple of fingers into the lake.

The Rainier park, the park where Mt.Rainier looks way closer to you than it acutally is! getting a photo of the water and Mt.Rainier is one of the best things to capture at this park. plenty of parking and lots of ground to walk along with your family. this is one of the best well maintained parks to visit! its a long drive to reach this park but worth it!

Wonder Lake with stunning views. The park is well maintained and is family friendly. The water is very clean and inviting. There is a park entry fee of $7 but if you have a military ID you only pay $3. Parking is plentiful, so bring the big truck if you like. We saw several law enforcement vehicles on the property, so safety concerns shouldn’t not an issue. We arrived around 0930am and there was a lot of people already out, but there was still plenty of space to spread out and enjoy ourselves. FYI: We left the park at 11:30am and there was at least 12 cars lined up at the entrance. When we arrived at 0930am, there was no line.

Lovely place water is really cold so you really got to pay attention. But they do provide life vest on one side of the lake. The bathrooms are pretty good. Between memorial day and labor day I believe it will cost 7$ per car to get thru.

If you want to spend time with your loved ones, enjoy picnic or BBQ, take baby out for a swim, enjoy speed water sports or just float; this is the place around Auburn. If lucky you can see the majestic Mt. Rainer looking at the lake. Parking charge is $7 per car.

Original Review: Our first time out to the lake this year & it didn't disappoint!! The water was great, the grass was green & clean, and it was a great time with family & friends! 2022 Update: Still a great lake & fun time! They have since remodeled the beach & have fantastic steps down to the water. We go multiple times a year & love every minute!

Scenic spot for picnic and water activities There is no playground here but the place is very well taken care. Kids can play in the shadow waters where no motor boats are allowed. Several like new tables can be found

Great park, 7 bucks to get in. BBQs, restrooms, lots of grass, paths, and beaches. Best views of Rainier around here.

Great place to take your family and friends and spend the day at. If it's a super nice hot day, you want to get there somewhat early otherwise parking ($7) gets filled up. There are picnic tables and bbqs for public use. Bring a canopy as there aren't many shady spots. I come here multiple times every summer and absolutely love it. You also get an amazing view of Rainier.

Very clean and quiet Park. The park fee is 7 dollars which is high but they maintain the park very well. Fishing, boating, paddling and barbecue places. Also, you can bring your dog and play too!
