Beautiful rooms, amazing wood fired sauna on the lake, fabulous breakfastt. And very cheap through a booking website (£45 a head bed and breakfast for 4). And umbrellas at the door in case it's raining.

This place is an absolute treat. I stayed here for one night and everything about it is cute. Like I was transported back in the past. The decor and the wallpapers, you can tell the amount of perfectionism put in to make everything look the way it did. The staff was great. Food was amazing. The chef definitely knew what they're doing with the recipe. Must try the sauna that has a view to the lake!

We went there to attend a wedding and I have this say that it was the perfect and prettiest venue for it! First the rooms were very rustic and cute, it was a bit hot for us during warm weather but the outdoor areas were so nice that we just didn’t spend much time in our rooms. In terms of food, the breakfast was SO GOOD, so much options and I loooooved the pâté! We also had dinner there which was delicious, just a great weekend overall!

Nice hotel in a historical complex. Pleasent stay in the rural area. Tidy rooms, gym and delicious breakfast.

Krusenbergs Herrgård is an idyllic place by a lake 20 minutes drive south of Uppsala. Beautiful and large garden, two bathing jetties and very quiet. The breakfast selection was good, but there were no alternatives except oat milk (lactose-free yogurt does not help with milk protein intolerance). However, the organization of the breakfast was a bit special: with many guests, there was only one person on duty and quite overloaded at peak times. The next day with fewer guests, there were 2-3 people working, which means that one was mainly chatting around and threw away my self-bought coconut yogurt instead of putting it in the fridge (NO GO!!!). And what almost drove you crazy was the arrival of all weekend guests on Friday evening, who drove through the property by car. I also found all the neon yellow signs with prohibitions a bit disconcerting. In summary: a nice place, but rooms and service rather remind of upscale youth hostel standard (bearable at summer prices, but not for higher charges).

Fare away from the city but a awesome place to stay to have a rest of crowded times and days. Enjoy the silence at the lake nearby

Enjoyed a weekday lunch+guidning package. The lunch was ok, but not extraordinary. But the guidning is spectacular. Mats Gustafsson, our guide, was wearing year 1800 type of clothes and told us fascinating stories about the owners of the castle. The enthusiastic guide is a treasure chest of fascinating information. After one hour of lunch the tour took two more hours. It is worth your time. The original wallpapers, the furniture, the china is replicated and was recently available in modern version in the handel. The huge fruit garden is open for self-picking in the fall. Every castle with rang should have a ghost, here the White Maid is honored with a prepared dinner table.

Relaxing, beautiful and cozy enviroment. Gorgeous rooms. Delicious food. Fun and exciting things to do for the kids, especially during Halloween. The service is excellent and the straff goes above and beyond. I highly recommend this place.

Countrystyle hotel in a nice landscape next to the lake. Tiny rooms and outdated bathrooms are not worth 4 stars. Same is true for breakfast. Most charging stations for electric vehicles did not work for our car. Room was quite warm, opening the window was not an option due to missing fly screen, only an old noisy ventilator made the night bearable.

Our stay @ Krusenberg Herrgård was wonderful. The Herrgård is wonderfully located by the lake Mälaren and the mansion is well kept and fancy. We enjoyed dinner although the portions could be bigger. Staff is lovely. The upstair lounge area is dreamy and elegant, yet cosy - a rare mix. The Breakfast buffe was gorgeous with the most delightful orange juice. They could work on a walk path by the water, for an early bird who likes to take a walk. Our overall experience was lovely and we will surely come back. ❤️
