I do recognize the review about the thin pony and not listening. I suspect Jacob has one approach for short hair. He worked quick (like he was in a hurry) and communication was difficult because he does not speak English. Blowdried it looked okay, but after washing I noticed strange holes and went to my own hairdresser to have it repaired.

Thank you Bashar! I love my haircut and finally managed to find someone in Stockholm who knows how to cut my curly hair (I have soft curls). Very professional, with little explanation and Bashar knew what he was doing, made spot-on recommendations of exactly what I wanted. Thank you for the hair makeover and I will definitely come back for my next hair cut 😀

To be honest, I don't know what to think. I wanted a longer wolfcut with thicker A shaped bangs and I got shorter hair with some layers and thin curtain bangs. The haircut itself is not bad, but its completely not what I wanted despite long discussion and many pictures. I didn't really feel heard but I trusted the hairdresser and it was a mistake. He did what he liked and not what I said I want. At fist I even liked it, but as soon as I got home I noticed that blow-dry set down and hairstyle doesn't look good, I have a bubble head like it was popular in 2005. Its the first time I cry after the haircut, it doesn't look good on me, it's not my style and it's shorter than I thought it would be. I wanted to look grundgy and I instead look like I was 20 years older.

I would definitely recommend this hair salon. I have curly/wavy hair and Yaqoob really is very talented in cutting that type of hair! I'm delighted with the result - He did a fantastic job and was both professional and friendly. The salon has very good prices for the excellent quality that they offer. This is the third hair salon I've tried in Stockholm and I will definitely go to By Jacobs again and again because I'm really happy with my new look!

Had my hair done for a wedding during the hottest days of summer! They made my hair frizz free and gorgeous! It lasted through hours of dancing in humidity and wind. Friendly and excellent service.

Totally recommend this place! Was walking by, decided promptly to get a haircut, popped by and got an appointment within 30 minutes. The whole staff is very friendly. I got a haircut by Erica, she was very sweet, listened to my questions, suggested what we do with my hair and then did a wonderful job cutting it. Love the new look!

After a bad hair colouring in another country I needed a quick fix! By Jacobs got me in on short notice and saved my hair. They are very quick and efficient. My hair is softer than it’s ever been and have a great blow dry. Thank you!

Visited By Jacobs for the first time as a recommendation from a friend of mine. Bashar & Jacob exceeded my expectations with a complete makeover and service. Bashar did a haircut from very long (thick) hair to bob and complete color change with highlights and coloring from brown to blond. Amazing results, great hair blow dry - he knows his profession very good 💪🏻 Definitely coming back!

I was looking for a good hair salon in Stockholm. It was my first hairstylist visit, so I was really trying to do my research before I chose any hair salon. by Jacobs was definitely the best choice I could make when it comes to treating my hair. :) Yaqoob colored and cut my hair. I was unsure if I wanted to go full blonde or get highlights, and what would fit me, Yaqoob took good care of advising me and making sure that the final look would be splendid. The service was ultra nice, and the people working there were very friendly and lovely to talk to. I got some nice tea to drink while waiting between the steps. The final look was amazing <3 I really recommend this place not only because the final result of the visit is worth it, but also because there are great people working there, that love their work and want to make your day special :) 10+/10

I just went for the first time at by jacobs after seeing the good reviews about it, and I’ll definitely come back ! Jaqoob cut my hair, and I was kinda afraid because I have very curly hair and I had some bad experiences with hairdresser that don’t know how to handle my curls. But he did an amazing job, asking me what I wanted exactly, giving me advices on what would look good with my type of hair, I completely trusted him and his experience. The result is just what I wanted, and on top of that I had a great time talking with them and their customers :)) À bientôt et merci !
