Absolutely excellent food and service! We were tempted in for dinner with some free tastings and weren’t disappointed. We were very warmly greeted by staff, served and fed quickly and very very well! Hubby particularly loved the chilli chicken burger especially because it wasn’t a sickly sweet sauce. I loved the garlic soy chicken fried rice - equal serves of both really made the dish unbeatable. The chicken is moist and crispy, not oily and the rest of the ingredients were deliciously fresh and tasty as. Loved the branding and decor, loved the passion and enthusiasm of the staff too. I hope they branch out, until then we’ll be back!

Who would have thought that Southern Chicken and Korean fusion would taste so good. The flavour of the chicken is the best I've ever tasted. You can get beer and sides. Very friendly staff who look after you.

Quality - chicken wings tasted great, buffalo sauce was a bit sweet but good heat, onion rings were good. Quantity - there’s more meat on KFC wicked wings and price per piece was more than questionable, and we ended up getting nine onion rings for ten dollars… will probably look elsewhere next time even though the manager was super personable. Just not worth the cost.

10/10. I can not fault the quality of service and that of the food at this restaurant. the customer service is exceptional and the chicken fried rice (both styles) are to die for. I don’t have a single bad thing to say about the restaurant after any of my visits, it wasn’t my first and it certainly wont be my last!

The chicken here is so fresh and tasty, my partner and I ordered 4 different types of chicken and every single one so tasty, the dipping sauces are also very nice. Customer service here is amazing the man that served us was one of the nicest blokes we’ve ever met and made the experience here so perfect and made us feel so welcome and took care of everyone that was eating in such a nice polite way. I would definitely recommend southern soul to anyone that loves chicken, not to mention the great atmosphere and great parking also. We absolutely loved this place.

Best fried chicken in the ACT! The food always comes out quickly and to a high standard and the service is very friendly. I recommend the boneless chicken thighs with Korean Sweet Chili sauce :)

Little gem hidden on the edge of the shopping centre. I had the Nashville style tenders (one level down from the spiciest) and my companion had the Korean popcorn chicken (soy and garlic). Both delicious (the tenders were seriously spicy, but I’ll try the hottest ones next time) The owner was extremely friendly and solicitous. We were very well looked after!

The food here is so good I have to ration myself to occassional visits. The fries are so moorish - crisp on the outside, fluffy and steaming hot on the inside and with a flavour that's sensational. Have also had the boneless wings (spicy) with tangy mayo - taste sensation. And the owner is such a friendly and welcoming gentleman, always asking how I am , how the family is doing, etc. He has a genuine passion for providing excellent quality food at an affordable price.
