Lovely sandy beach with lots of sand dunes to explore. Waters are gently steeped so good for paddling or swimming. That said there were quite a few jellyfish around! Beach was very clean with hardly any litter when we came. There are a few parking options including a pay and display nearby (although if you're lucky you can park on the road leading up to it for free). Or you can pay to park for £4 for the day at the end of the caravan park too (though it has a 2m height restriction). There are toilets near the pay and display car park. Really nice beach to visit.

Absolutely stunning beach with sand for miles! The water is crystal clear and on a hot day, you could be abroad! Perfect for families, young children and paddle boarders! Watch the tide when it comes in though...a family almost got cut off as it sweeps in behind you and forms a sand bank and if your facing the sea you wouldn't notice it. There are many ways to it but we came from a nearby holiday park. There is no path way from here as it is pebbles and they are piled quite steep.... prams need to be carried over this part so it's not wheelchair friendly nor friendly for those unsteady on their feet...but once you pass the pebbles you have endless sand. Watch out for jellyfish and weever fish!! Especially when the tide is coming in...so highly recommend you wear swimming shoes. When the tide goes out, it leaves a shallow pool which is perfect for toddlers as it warms up all day in the sun! The tide does come RIGHT IN leaving absolutely zero beach but if it is calm it does leave a tiny strip of soft sand for you to move too. 9 times out of 10 it's fully in to the pebbles so make sure you visit just as the tide is going out to make the most of your day. No toilets but if you walk to the away resorts site barmouth bay holiday Village...there is a pub with toilets, chippy and sweet stall that sells hotdogs, doughnuts and coffee etc. This beach is also perfect for a family game of rounders/badminton so pack your outdoor games. Also...be very aware of rip currents! This beach is NOT LIFE GUARDED so its Best you go swimming when the tide is coming back in to be safe xxx

very quiet and clean beach, very vast so feels like there's hardly anyone there. The sunsets are gorgeous!

Our first visit today. What a find. Gorgeous beach completely empty after a summer thunderstorm. Beautiful dunes and only a narrow line of pebbles to negotiate before reaching the sand.

Parking available nearby with a short walk to the beach which is steep and pebbled at the entrance. There is a beautiful long stretch of sandy beach to the left and right of the entrance. Dogs allowed to the right of the beach during certain times of the year. There have been recent sightings of dead birds towards the sand dunes with warnings locally of bird flu. We therefore kept our dogs close to the water and took them at low tide, otherwise advise keeping them on leads. Magnificent sunsets can be seen from this coastline. It is obviously busier during peak holiday periods but out of season this is a tranquil calm idyll with only the sound of the sea to be heard. Perfect!

Lovely, quiet, unspoilt beach. A nature reserve of special scientific interest. Some free parking and parking charges. Access onto the beach by a recently installed wooden boardwalk, with a couple of seats to take in the spectacular views of the mountains and sea! Picnic bench overlooking the beach. Some dunes and the river.

Lovely beach very clean, bit of a walk over the sand dunes to get to it so if you struggle walking be carful. There is other parts with walkways down to it

Car park and Nice board walk on to the beach at Morfa dyffryn nature reserve NEXT to benar beach, beautiful unique area-please don't drop litter or dog poo bags! protect our beautiful places, unfortunately people letting dogs chase wildlife etc, if we are not careful we will lose these wonderful places, keep to the board walk and paths such a shame to see broken fences etc 🤬
