Beautiful & huge sandy beach with gentle waves. Life guard on duty. Car park is right next to the beach. There are public toilets (need 40p cash though). We went on a wet & cold day so must be stunning when the weather is sunny.

a special place if you have good weather! I spent a few days here with my family and it was super nice! The sand is very fine, the beach is clean, the ice cream truck comes to you on the beach. I recommend this place for families with children.

Visited on a fresh sunny April day. Lovely beach and beautiful views from the esplanade. Close to the town centre but there is quite a drop to the beach via steps or sloping path.

Lovely beach, can get very busy, get there early to find a parking space. One of the nicest beaches ive been to in the UK, almost tropical in a nice sunny day, plenty of food and drink places close by, even a cafe and pub right next the beach. Beautiful views on the walk a roff the seafront.

I loved it! I went for the 1st of May Bank Holiday, and I can say I got impressed. The perfect long sandy beach to walk it was amazing. I wasn’t expecting. The water so clear, and also super cold, but with people still enjoying. From the road to the beach there are a few access by 100 steps down. Many garden areas to sit and just enjoy the beach view perfectly maintained. The beach it is dog friendly from September to 01st May what was perfect to take our puppy to enjoy. I would love to come back if the weather gets over 25 degrees in this place.

Tenby Is divided into two parts the south beach is a beautiful sandy long beach there is a Fort at one end and its peaceful quiet at the other. Great place for a romantic walk. The North side and town and port are much busier and definitely worth a visit. We spent the day here and really enjoyed the visit. Lots to see and do. Check the tide times as the fort and boat trips are tide dependent.

Another stunning example of nature at its best. Huge beach and DOGS ALLOWED as long as you enter to far right. Lifeguard on duty. We parked at seafront car park at top of cliff however there is a car park at the bottom.

Recently visited Tenby having last visited the place some 56years ago in a 1953 Ford Anglia. The place has not changed a great deal other than the prices are a lot more. The 3 Beaches North, South and Castle are immaculate, the streets free of litter with local cottages and businesses painting the buildings in pastel colours and obviously taking a pride in their premises. I’m not a “ doggy” person but every other person i passed seem to have 1 , 2 or 3 dogs some even pushing them around in prams. Parking is at a premium and if found expensive, food and drink can be found in the numerous eateries but can be above what is normal cost. I noticed the absence of street beggars and at the same time the obvious absence of police officers. I noticed on my day of leaving the grand opening of a larger than life “Greggs” probably to replace the smaller, well attended shop lower down the street I really enjoyed my second visit, made better by the great guest house we stayed at ( with free secure parking,). it is a relaxing place and well worth the 200+ mile journey to get there. It seemed with the Sun, sand and sea the numerous kids were having a time of there life, the joys of youth. A great place to visit but sadly probably my last, but memorable.

Great beach. This is one of my happy places in the world, the beach has it all. The people who look after this beach need a medal, it’s clean even after some people leave their rubbish on the sand. It’s a safe swimming beach with lifeguards (god bless the RLNI), great for a bbq in the evening.
