Excellent service, beautiful chain restaurant. We were seated in a lovely corner away from most people and that suited us perfectly! A very good allergy menu; just a wee bit pricier than our local indie restaurants! Good selection of non-alcoholic drinks. Lift for access to the top floor. Staff were brilliant!

Had roast dinner, the belly pork, which was very nice. Veg is good, but roast spuds are very underwhelming. Had a side order of pigs in blankets and sausage was very poor quality. Had a dirty glass with oj bits still in glass, which was replaced, but new glass had lots of fingerprints. Staff very good and helpful. Our visit was OK.

It's just meh. The staff were lovely and the building itself is nice, but everything else was just horribly below average. The food looked the part, the photos are great - but everything was drenched in oil. Even the sourdough loaf was dripping with fat, the paper it was served on was saturated in grease. The mains were served luke warm, then they poured even more oil on the meal at the table which drips down and wets the fries underneath making them cold and wet. The portion sizes were also just odd. One of our starters was huge, the other was a tiny egg served on a wooden shovel. One of our mains had an overflowing bowl of fries, the other had a third of a bowl of rice. The halloumi was so dry. Drinks took 20 minutes to arrive, and then had to be sent back. And our table was adjacent to a floor mop station. The staff were fantastic and tried very hard to resolve some issues.

The food was nice, my steak was a bit dry and not really as medium rare as I wanted to. But the rest was really good. Totally loved their starters and never skip desserts :))) The service was amazing. The staff shall make sure you’re noticed and taken care of during the time you dine with them.

This was the first time we had been to the botanist, it won't be the last! We booked a table for two and when arrived asked about a window seat and were lucky enough to be able to have one. The food was amazing , the servers were very attentive but not intrusive, the place has great decor and the live band playing were great

Great food, nice atmosphere, staff were friendly and helpful. Fairly priced and the cocktails went down rather well.

My partner and I came here for Christmas Eve brunch, phenomenal quality in food and drinks. Really warm, welcoming staff and we are definitely coming back again! 🎄🤍

We had a really lovely night, the staff were really helpful and soon sorted out the issue we had with the soup coming out a bit cold. Everyone enjoyed the night and we would definitely book again. Note to the chef, the sea bass could have done with a little less sauce as it was quite overpowering by half way through. Also the Lemon meringue mess was more cream than anything else, so maybe a little more lemon and meringue. But all in all a great night. Thank you.

We had the best time! The food tasted fantastic, the service was friendly, attentive and efficient and the atmosphere was comfy and cosy without being too loud! Loved the round table too! This was a work Christmas meal out and everyone commented on how great it was. We had a brilliant time. Special Thanks to the staff for making our night!

I had booked for 11 people for my daughter’s birthday on 16th. From entering the building, we were shown courtesy and shown to our table. We had the large round table near the window, which was fabulous, could see everyone. The food was superb, enjoyed by everyone, which doesn’t happen often. The waitress could not be more cheerful and helpful, and nothing too much trouble. For many it was their first visit, all very complementary and would visit again. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
