We
visited
on
Monday
after
booking
in,
but
it
wasn’t
overly
busy.
We
ordered
cocktails
which
arrived
absolutely
FULL
of
pips,
to
the
point
that
they
were
almost
undrinkable.
For
food,
we
ordered
a
full
portion
of
ribs
(which
were
alright),
but
they
came
with
corn
on
the
cob
which
was
meant
to
be
buttered
and
was
dry
and
frankly
unpleasant,
as
was
the
coleslaw.
I
got
the
prawns
which
were
again,
ok,
a
bit
dry.
We
also
tried
the
chicken
strips,
which
were
the
nicest
by
far.
We
found
service
to
be
slow,
had
to
seek
out
a
server
to
check
on
a
forgotten
drink,
and
they
failed
to
warn
us
of
the
temperature
of
the
plates,
which
was
astronomical,
and
thus
the
salads
were
dry
also.
They
didn’t
ask
which
sauce
we
wanted
with
the
ribs,
so
we
asked
for
bbq
after
it
arrived,
and
were
charged
extra
for
this.
For
me
the
worst
thing
was
the
lack
of
care
in
the
restaurant;
you
could
see
dust
on
the
table
lamps
and
surfaces
around
the
restaurant,
as
well
as
being
able
to
tell
the
table
hadn’t
been
cleaned
very
thoroughly.
There
were
condiments
on
the
table
but
the
salt
cellar
was
empty.
We
had
to
ask
for
the
bill
and
then
point
out
a
deal
hadn’t
been
applied,
although
this
was
then
addressed
rapidly
and
without
fuss.
We
wouldn’t
come
again,
which
is
a
shame
as
I
have
great
memories
of
TGIs
from
my
youth-
maybe
this
is
their
main
target
market,
there
were
a
lot
of
teens
there,
but
this
shouldn’t
mean
a
drop
in
standards.
Some
of
the
staff
were
trying
really
hard,
but
perhaps
a
greater
managerial
presence
or
some
retraining/cleaning
is
needed.
