Best retail park in old ferry absolutely had the best day ever shopping for o rings

I'm not going to artificially build up your expectations here. The Rock Retail Park is essentially a couple of large car parks in front of a row of the usual shops - McDonald's, Curry's PC World, Wickes etc. and I'm not belittling it on those grounds. If you need a tumble dryer, McBurger or six bags of coarse building sand, this could be the place for you. Best avoided first thing on a Sunday morning unless you have blue lights under the sills of your car.

Plenty of useful shops and there's a McDonald's on the site too. Parking is free and there are usually plenty of spare spaces, whatever the time of day. Getting on and off the site can be tricky as busier times of the day. The site is also close to the Birkenhead town centre and Mersey tunnel exit/entrance if you're accessing Liverpool.

Good range of shops like to look around B&M and home bargains not to mention Iceland great prices in Iceland warehouse

There's a good range of shops here, mostly around food and home wares. It's convenient to get to with good road links and a train station very close by. My main issue with it is that it's definitely designed for cars - there's little provision for a lot of pedestrian traffic, and the entrance and exit routes are only on one side. If I want to leave the retail park the other side I have to hop off a wall onto the pavement. It would be vastly improved if it had better accessibility for pedestrians.

It's a very small retail park, but has almost everything you could possibly need from building a house to cooking & eating but mostly frozen. There's also 2 very cheap shops, B&M or Home Bargain. Personally, they're my favourites. Happy Shopping.

Bobbed in with my grandson to B&M for a selection box, they had none BUT we did come away with dinosaurs lol

I had a great day's shopping today at the food warehouse. I was able to buy all the items I needed and Easter presents for my grandchildren and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

Quite good, the shops are bigger so more of a range

The only time I've been here before today is to feast at McDonald's 🍔🥤 at 3/4am in the 🌆. But today I discovered one of my favorite stores is located here in the form of a 'HUGE' Home Bargains Supermarket so now I have a reason to return other than in the middle of the 🌃 for munchies🥤😋. The only thing I will say that might be viewed in the negative when it comes to the Rock Retail Park is that you need a car or similar mode of transport to access it...as for 🚍 routes & 🚌times etc best you check on Google etc. But that being said it's great that there's lot's of free parking available here which is a bonus. And finally there's not a great array of business's located here at present @ the start of 2023. Yes there's Iceland, Matalan, Home Bargains & McDonald's of course but there's also a lot of empty units which need to be filled if this is to be a top rated shopping retail park... 🛒🙂

Live 5 minutes from here. Go shopping nearly every day here. Good selection of shops. B and M. Home Bargains, Food warehouse, Matalan and a Macdonalds. Also lots of parking space. Nice experience. Staff are lovely and friendly in all the shops.

It's got an Iceland Food Warehouse (great), MacDonalds, Matalan + a couple of other big stores. Easy to get to from the town centre. It's a bit of a small retail park really.

Parking is restricted and no signs for blue badge holder spaces to warn of restrictions as they are on other side of road and not really visible. Time limit of 2 hours here is ridiculous as there is no way you could get around in a wheelchair in that time. We were 1 minute over time queueing to get out when doing our xmas shop and it cost £100! No exception made for disabled absolutely put me off going here

Easy parking. We went to B&M, Matalan and McDonalds. All much the same as their counterparts. Large stores.

Always quite busy but loads of parking and variety of shops and fast food is quite good.

Plenty of parking spaces. Good low cost retail outlets. Some possibly overstocked with both Halloween and Christmas items but lots of low low priced household goods.

A good group of shops in a clean retail park. However, there are parking issues here and a growing number of aggressive beggars outside some shops.

Every time I go there I get a fine because I'm there to long which is annoying as I am disabled I have trouble walking and breathing so it takes me longer to get around the shop

The shops it contains are what you'd expect from them. If there is a queue for the Mcdonalds drive thru the car park can be a nightmare to get round.

Marvellous, lots of shops and a place to get a lovely sausage and egg mcmuffin .

Great parking facilities although it can get busy at times expecially with mc Donald's drive in. But in general a good place with shopping outlets around.

Bloody McDonald's drive thru causes mayhem at lunch time. Stupid layout to the drive thru and car park. Nobody follows the drive thru signs.

Good selection of shops. I went into Matalan to look for something but it was out of stock. But they have a good selection of clothes for the whole family including your pets. At the moment there is also 20% ,off certain items. Home bargains is a shop that you can't come out of without buying something , good value for money.

Despite there being no evidence of many rock's, contrary to what the name suggests, this is a great little retail park. Not too many outlets that lead you to believe you're in a shopping vortex of Hell. Could do with a coffee shop though 🤷‍♂️

I enjoy coming to the rock retail as its only a short walk from my house and has everything I could need.

Maccies there's a really good one. Staff are lovely and the burgers are really good! We went to the B&M as well and the lady on the checkout was lovely to every customer equally. It was lovely especially since the weather was so rubbish
