Had laser eye surgery here Friday and could already see better than 20/20 Saturday morning in my follow up appointment! Couldn't believe how quick the process was. From the free consultation through to the aftercare the team here have been fantastic. Been non stop recommending laser surgery here to everyone I know, life changing and worth the money.

I got my eyes lasered here about 4 years ago and its up there with one of the best things I’ve ever done. 10/10, if you hate wearing glasses like I did, then get it done! Worth every penny! My eyes are not better than 20/20 vision

Couldn’t believe how quick and easy it was to go through. Got booked in within a few weeks and the day of surgery I was done within an hour and half! My surgeon was lovely and made me feel so relaxed. I did have a few issues with inflammation but the Chester branch were amazing getting me in for regular checks until it was fully cleared. Can’t praise all the staff enough! Everyone has been so amazing!

I needed an urgent optician review as I had distorted vision in one eye. They were able to give me an appointment on the same day and I was given a very thorough examination including specialist scans and Chloe the opthalmologist arranged a hospital appointment. The service I received here could not have been better!

Phoebe was just incredible! Made me feel so at ease at the consultation couldn’t fault her customer service she went above and beyond.

My husband doug had treatment here and the gent Kevin helped/advised every step of the way. He was so wonderful and amazing,even gave is additional eye drops for when we go away. Nothing was too much for him. Kevin is an absolute delight and the advice he gave meant alot.

Had lens replacement 4 weeks ago at the Manchester clinic. The treatment there and the follow up in Liverpool have been excellent and have restored my vision to well above the driving standard. It's understandable to be nervous about having this treatment but the standard of care has been fantastic and I would recommend Optical Express without any reservations. Life changing.

I recently attended the branch in Liverpool One for a consultation about lens replacement. Unfortunately I'm not suitable for this procedure but I must say the staff were wonderful,very friendly and professional. I would happily recommend them to anyone.

Terrible, costly and unprofessional.Having been advised that I needed cataract lens replacement surgery, and looking online, I was amazingly contacted by Optical Express after clicking on their website. After a short telephone conversation I was quoted £7990 for the surgery. I was then offered a consultation in Liverpool and a surgery date of Easter Monday for the surgery. Obviously, living on the Isle of Man, air travel and hotels have to be sourced. Having attended the Liverpool consultation, which went well, I returned to the IoM, booked the Easter break of work and awaited the telephone consultation with the ophthalmic consultant Mr Desai. This consultation was meant to be on the 4th April but never occurred, I then received a phone call stating that my surgery was cancelled. However I was asked if I would like to meet the consultant anyway. Do these idiots not realise that the IoM is in the Irish Sea, if I want to speak to a consultant I can do it here. What I naively expected was the surgery to be carried out as Optical Express had arranged,not to be cancelled 3 days before scheduled. This whole sorry saga has cost me £1000 plus. What an incredibly amateur organisation.

Been wearing glasses since i was 12 with short sightedness that went worse and worse every year more, so i decided to try and see if the laser LASIK surgery was an option to solve the problem and get rid of those glasses that would fog up during the winter, get dirty and create an obstacle to the day to day normal life as it was before. I went to the Optical Express clinic in Liverpool and i was welcomed by the very kind and professional manager Lela Thompson, she explained all the process and provided as well with a full informative brochure and appointment to check if i could be a good subject for the surgery. i was blown away from how professional and nice the manager, the team and the optician has been to me. extremely understanding, patient explaining all option for the payment of the surgery and all around a very positive experience. aftercare is going very good, surgery lasted at the best 5 minutes and totally painless . the surgeon was very professional and was happy to answer all my questions and worries the highest score for the Liverpool's team and Lela Thompson the manager. i would strongly recommend the Lasik eye surgery as life changing experience

I just been in this clinic for my eyes consultation, and I had a pleasure to speak with manager Leila Thompson wich is been really professional, polite,very helpful in assisting me with my problem. She professionally, and carefully explained my procedure should I decide I wanted to continue with the surgery. I am very satisfied and happy with the service and kindness received from the clinic.

I had my laser eye surgery done at the Liverpool clinic and I can't fault the service I received. The manager of the clinic was really friendly and helped me after the surgery by allowing me to wait until I got picked up and constantly checked on me. The surgery team were also fantastic as they put me at ease the whole time.

This was the best decision I have ever made. I have worn glasses of a very strong prescription since I was 2yrs old (nearly 50 years}. Lock-down computer screen work led to visual stress, meaning my sight deteriorated badly and I struggled to see any detail at a distance. I now have better than 20:20 vision - only needing a small prescription easy reader for very small print or close work. The difference is life-changing. The operation was no problem. Before, during and after, the care has been fabulous. I would recommend this to anyone and have already told just about everyone I know.

My English is not the best, but the staff made me feel very comfortable. All of them were kinds, friendly and very professionals.

I went for an eye test today, 24th May 2021. As usual, Optical Express went above and beyond in terms of both medical and technical aspects. They were very thorough and efficient. The frames available for people on low incomes and or benefits are still stylish and there is a decent range to choose from. I found a nice frame design and for £12.00 you can have UV protection on the lenses. I am a revisiting customer and I shall continue to put my eye care in the hands of Optical Express. I would definitely recommend this company.

A truly life changing experience, I have worn spectacles my whole life because I was short-sighted and recently started to develop reading problems. I had my original consultation for laser eye surgery in the chester branch which has some fantastic staff who were very helpful & so friendly then I had my surgery in Liverpool. I was only there about an hour an half in total but was given lots of information regarding what would happen, the outcome & possible after affects so I could make the right decision for me. Within 24hrs of having i-lasik I had better than 20/20 vision with my original prescription being -5.5 in both eyes. It's amazing, it feels life changing for me, yes it's not cheap but the results were worth it for the peace of mind that you are getting a truely professional service & a guarantee of continued after care. I wish I'd had the surgery years ago!

The lady in the Liverpool One store (Not sure of her name but she knows who she is) went out of her way to try get me the best deal on a new pair of frames. She couldn't be any more helpful and made the whole experience a breeze.

Attended Optical Express this morning for a laser eye consultation. It turned out i'm unable to have the treatment. The staff were very through and explained all of the other possible treatments I could have instead. It turns out I am a candidate for lens surgery but wasn't pressured into it. In fact quite the opposite in that it's something i'd feel the benefit of more when my eye muscles weaken with age. Was a completely free service with professional, friendly & honest advice which was in my best interest. Thank you *****

Cant give any lower but would.paid around £9. grand for new lenses.optician elsewhere told me a bit of deris stick to the lens.not cleaned out properly.optical express now want £100.to check.but still not covered.its in the terms and conditions .first 12 months are covered.i was told when i booked that any tweeking will be covered.so let down.please beware.shop around

Liverpool Store. Yes was fantastic. Up to my surgery it was welcoming and informative, all my silly and serious question answered in polite, professional and comforting manner. Post surgery i realised all was good and it really WORKS!! Definitely worth the money for LASIK IDesign. But as far as services and the staff it was what got me through the operation itself. Disappointed with the service.. ordered a pair of glasses with a promise of 2 weeks delivery, am still waiting! No calls from them to say why the delay. Their excuse was it a specialist glasses from Germany hence waiting but they are unable to inform me of the progress to date so now on 4th week…
