Brought up in edge hill a few hundred yards from the park, so it's part of my childhood memories, it's a great place to meet up and just sit around, the park seems pretty much the same , the buildings around the park are all university buildings now as is most of inner edge hill, the whole area now is much pretty unrecognisable now so it was great to stop by and remember friends and family that have moved on, there are places I remember all my life x

Love the garden. Located right opposite to the library and the school of arts, Abercromby is the perfect place to be on a sunny day!

Being almost in the midst of the University of Liverpool, Abercromby square is close to many whereabouts. Sydney Jones library is adjacent to it as well as Garstang Museum. Lovely in the summer days especially when it is sunny and gets really packed. Gates are closed every day almost at 9ish.

The most beautiful roses in the city(all June). Sitting and drinking beer on the grass on the sun in the summer and with the students around-priceless!:)

At this moment in time this is the perfect place to have a moment of relaxation from all the stresses of everything life. Lots of benches to sit at. The gardening staff have worked hard to make this a little oasis.

Nice place to chill, get lots of sunlight, and picnic. Just please take your rubbish with you and dispose of it properly.

so nice when it is sunny the grass didn't give us a wet bum which was ideal, perfect for reading a good book to discuss in seminars

A classic Georgian garden square. Good planting and maintenance, tidy, no traffic.

Abercromby Square is a small park right in the middle of the University of Liverpool campus. The gardens are well maintained in a simple formal style. It's is surrounded on three sides by Georgian terraces, the fourth being Sydney Jones library. It is a quiet place with the added advantage of being close to the city centre. Benches are dotted around on the gravel paths or help yourself to a patch of grass. Nearby is the Cambridge Pub, which is a nice relaxing spot for an outside drink in the sunshine
