This is one of the best Greeks restaurants I have ever been. The foods is so tested and exquisite. The service is fenomenal! I highly recommend it!

This is the place in Liverpool for traditional Greek food. Lots of choice all mains come with rice or chips you can ask for half and half. The seafood and mousakka is amazing. But the deserts are the star of the show all home made and change daily this was the baklava cheese cake combination and it was phenomenal.

Zorbas must surely be the best Greek restaurant in Liverpool and surely one of the best in the UK! We stumbled on it during an afternoon walk and thought it might be a good choice for dinner and were not proved wrong. It is run by a wonderful family who take great pride in their food. The desserts are especially good 😋 The ambiance is great and the decor is lovely. Live music was provided by Andreas. He played a varied mix of Greek music, contemporary music with the bouzouki being the main instrument. He also played some nice songs of his own too. We were still there late as many of the owner's (Louise and "Mr Michael") family arrived and we soon felt like part of the family and treated to some ouzo 😃 Thoroughly recommended!

This restaurant is the perfect example of "you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover". Doesn't look fancy on the outside but the food is fantastic. Excellent authentic Greek food as it should be. If you like Greek cuisine you should not skip this one! The prices are very reasonable as well. Staff is friendly and takes their time to help you and make your stay worth while.

The hospitality is number one, the food excels the hospitality, the service is impeccable, the music is excellent. This family makes everyone feel loved. It's my favourite restaurant in all of England.

We ordered hummus, aubergine dip, beef meatballs and courgette fritters, all delicious and came with hot pitta bread. Main course was succulent chicken and lamb mix kebabs and afelia, melting pork in wine and herbs. Live music gave atmosphere and all staff and customers were cheerful. A great meal!

Zorbas goes beyond the stars ! An exceptional restaurant with the best food I have ever eaten. We really loved the atmosphere; traditional, family run and non pretentious. This family know what they’re doing. We can’t wait to visit again soon. Thank you for a wonderful time.

Wow, what a place! A large group of us came here for a birthday celebration dinner. The owners and staff were so accommodating and so friendly. They made such a fuss of my one year old - it really was lovely! And to top it off the food was absolutely fantastic. We would definitely come back and would highly recommend to anyone. My home away from home! Excellent food in a good range of price if you are a group. A great athmosphere, you will soon feel like one of the family. And do visit on a weekend when Andy´s playing. I will soon be back again.

Super authentic Greek and Cypriot food! I’m from Cyprus, and it’s so hard to find really delicious authentic Greek food in the UK. This is the best Greek good in Liverpool, easily! Fresh ingredients, great service, and reasonable prices. Highly recommend!

Turned up on spec they seated 7 of us ,service was excellent,explained things on the menu,food arrived quickly,good flavours ,all the party enjoyed their food , reasonable price

No regrets here. Came in early-ish, before a gig. It was fairly quiet at the start but soon picked up! Definitely worth booking, especially on a weekend. Reasonable selection of some traditional Greek favourites - plenty to choose from. Food was really well cooked and presented - extremely tasty! A little live music at the back of the restaurant kept the atmosphere upbeat and authentic. Slightly narrow and some tables were a little close together, but this may have been because they were expecting a large party. Not worth deducting from clear 5 stars though. Thank you.

The restaurant was lovely, and the family owning it, even more ! We went there last summer, we wanted to eat a bit late but everything was closed, but not the Zorbas. They served us even while it was nearly empty and were really friendly, explaining some history of the food and helping us choose. They also made us taste a Greek alcohol for free, just because we were wondering what it was. The food was also really good and decently priced. An absolute 10 out of 10 for the Zorbas !

Authentic menu, delicious hearty food served fresh, special mention to the mousaka which arrived steaming on the plate - and that is not an easy one to get right. Totally recommended.

Our order was taken promptly and we didn't have to wait too long for each course even though the restaurant was packed, each course was delicious, especially the dessert. Ekmek & Backlava.

What a charming place! The food is tasty, healthy and home cooked. Varied menu. Ambient setting with live Greek music adds to the experience. The family that owns the business are warm and friendly. Theresa and Louisa gave us an education on Greece and Cyprus and seemed interested in Ireland. They even gave us some home made Politico cake on the house. A nice touch. Will always go back when in Liverpool.

As first time visiting, we were in the hands of the (Greek) gods . . . . . But it has to be said : This place is a real gem of restaurant: Cypriot Greek food cooked to absolute perfection, with a passion only matched on the island of Cyprus itself. Outstanding!!

Great family friendly place (they have high chairs and make sure children enjoy their restaurant experience too). I can see why this place has been here for so many years. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Delicious, authentic food. We had the lamb cutlets, the kleftiko and the spanakopita. So tasty. The owner was lovely and friendly. She brought over some coloured straws to keep our 2 year old entertained while we waited for our food. The owner makes the desserts herself. I can't remember the name of the dessert we had but it was so tasty. I'd never had anything like it.

I gave it a 4 star because the atmosphere was nice and fun. The owners and staff are very welcome and the food is very reasonably priced. There was some live bouzouki music and some lively locals singing along. Great to go with your friends and talk and have a good time. Some of the food we ordered was really delicious but the meats for main course were quite bland and needed seasoning. But you can season the food a little yourself with the dips and other things that come with the meal. The hostess was lovely and very friendly. Overall, it was a really nice experience and i would definitely go again.

Zorbas seems slightly stuck in a timewarp. The traditional Greek taverna cannot be found in most Greek places in Greece so should it really be Liverpool doing the same things. The one positive was that the food was lovely and good value. The service was also good. We and another two group were the only ones in on that evening. Unfortunately the smell was a little over powering (old grease).

Didn't manage to even sit down and eat in the restaurant. Booked for 7:30, they messed our booking up and let late arrivals sit on our table, and even then left us stood in middle of dining room for half hour before letting us know table wasn't ready. Rang back 45 minutes later and still the table wasn't ready, so went elsewhere. 0 🌟

The food was mediocre - kebabs lacked flavour and the portions for the shared meze were so excessive, it was very wasteful. 5 bowls of dip for 3 people, and then only one pitta bread per person! Am I supposed to just eat spoonfuls of tahini on its own?! So much food must be going in the bin at this place. Really nothing special. Also, I have heard that management does not let staff keep their tips. I will not come here again.
