Beautiful spot with amazing sunsets views from the shore. When the tide is out its a lovely walk on the beach with the dog and great for kids to have a run around watch the sun go down. Mostly clean with the exception of some people leaving their dog poo. Also has the pathway running along to walk and the cafe close by.

Such an amazing place. You can walk the dog along very long beach with sand and access to water. Apart from that you can enjoy seeing lots of sea life after low or high tide. Great place to enjoy beautiful Wirral

Nice walk the path is muddy so we walked on the prom and this was better for us. Only 2 complaints, fast pushbikes whizzing past and the only toilets open between Harrison drive and West Kirby are those at the end of Leasowe Road, 3 toilets locked up.

When the tide is in there isn't much beach but plenty of walk ways and cycle paths that go on to Hoylake and up to New Brighton.

We got the train to new Brighton with our bikes, then cycled all the way along the coast to west kirby then onto the wirral way all the way to eastham. What a fab day.

I cycle here at least once a week for a quick rest, watching the tide, then continue my cycle journey towards New Brighton. I am super grateful for this bike route, as it's the safest route to New Brighton or Meols and it is always clean. Good stuff.

Good wide beach at low tide. Great for dog walking all year round. Just avoid sunny 🌞 days when day trippers visit and leave their rubbish strewn about.

Very pleasant, very busy too, early morning best time if you want to contemplate life, the universe and everything undisturbed

I've been a few times with my gf and we went for a walk and to watch the sunset here recently. Great experience.

It's becoming more and more unfortunate that all the local natural beauty spots are 'dog friendly'. I love dogs but 'dog friendly now seems to mean that owners let their dogs run loose and do not pick up after them once they have fouled!!!!!

I grew up with this beach and I visit every time I come home, if weather is nice. However I was very surprised to see how overgrown it was along the pathways. Sand and rock pools looked so clear and inviting though. Good to see Lifeguards on duty with up to date equipment and good warning signs. On a day like today it's a beautiful peaceful place to be.

I regularly visit The Green Hut for a bit of food for lunch or even just a quick cuppa during my working day. It's a good popular place to visit, can get exceptionally busy on hot, sunny days.
