We had the beef satay, yung chaw fried rice and the prawn toast and it was amazing. Very filling and tasty. I'm a new vegan and this place really helps me get my authentic takeaway fix!

So glad to have found a veggie-friendly Chinese relatively near us (we’re in West Derby)! We’re a family of vegans and veggies and were blown away by the selection here - it’s got all the normal take-away options, but veggie/vegan. The food was delightful - it is tastier and healthier than other take-always! And very reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly. Highly recommend.

Wow, what can I say beyond superb. We travelled tonight from L12 to trial new vegan/veggie Chinese takeaway Yummy Green. It was worth the trip and we will be returning imminently. Everything is fresh, authentic and yummy. The fish and chips were very tasty. The beef green pepper is a must. Rice and vermicelli dishes met the approval of our party, too. Counter staff and chefs are all committed vegetarian and passionate about customer satisfaction. Highly recommended for all. Carnivores, too, will love it.

Lovely new veggie/vegan Chinese takeaway. We do eat meat but try to minimise it so were excited to try this place. We loved it. The food was really fresh and felt more healthy than usual takeaway- even the salt and pepper chips. Best things were the sesame ‘prawn’ toast and crispy chilli ‘beef’, both I preferred to the usual versions. Will definitely come again. Only thing is no delivery at the moment- really hope this will happen as we would definitely order from there more often!

You should check out this Chinese takeaway, it is tasty, well-priced and features an amazing selection of vegan dishes. We ordered crispy chilli beef, szechuan char siu, sweet and sour chicken balls, tofu black bean sauce and salt/chili pepper chips. They all tasted great, just like you'd expect of a decent Chinese takeaway. You will love this local restaurant whether you are vegetarian, vegan, or eat meat, so pop by and enjoy!

Wow. This is easily the best Chinese we've had! We tried a range of dishes and everything is so flavourful and delicious. The owner is lovely and welcoming too, we will be back!

This is a delicious chippy that has an amazing vegan selection. I love that there's a wide variety of meals to choose from, and the owners are really lovely people. I recommend trying this out! The meal in my picture is Char Sui satay Chips Prawn toast with a dip This did two meals so it's great value for money too.

The food was delicious and was ready to collect really quickly. The portion sizes were great for the price and the lady that served us was very friendly! Will definitely be ordering from here again 💖

Loved it... healthy, fresh, loads of veggies. I had broccoli in bb sauce and salt n pepper tofu. Big portions and tasty without being overly salty. Felt like good home cooked food. Will deffo go back

Food is amazing!! If you’re vegetarian or vegan a love Chinese food this is the place to go!! Only downside is no home delivery and not on Deliveroo or just eat. Other than that can’t recommend highly enough

Cannot recommend this place enough. Food is phenomenonal, and I love the owner! I tricked my partner who will only entertain meat with food from here (he had the sweet and sour chicken) devoured it, and was completely shocked when I told him it wasn't meat! 100% recommend

I can Honestly say I had the best Chinese takeaway ever. The crispy chili beef (vegan that is) was amazing you couldn't tell it wasn't meat. The crispy duck and pancakes was also delicious. My go to place for takeaways now

Saw the story in the echo this week so took a trip over from Wigan to try your food. My partner turned veggie last year after being very much a meat eater for 40+ years. He said your food almost made him cry, he never thought he would be able to eat food like that when he gave up meat. Seriously impressive. We will be back to stock up soon x

We decided to get a take away from Yummy Green for the first time today. Amazing vegan and vegetarian dishes! Genuinely the best Chinese food we’ve had in ages. We got the sesame prawn toast, crispy chilli beef, veggie curry, and char siu in black bean sauce (as well as some sides). All fresh, delicious and generous portions. This place is an absolute gem! ❤️ 🌱 It will be our regular take away from now on!

Such delicious food absolutely loved my meal. I am not vegetarian or vegan but I was impressed and liked it the same as a regular Chinese. Will definitely be going back such a unique place and the menu is incredible. The customer service was amazing and the lady behind the counter was so friendly. Great place !

WOW! I've been vegan for almost 5 years now and finally I can enjoy a Chinese again!!! Food all tasted lovely and fresh not greasy re-heated rubbish you get at alot of Chinese places! This place is a must 10/10 me and my boyfriend can't wait to go again. Yummy

Absolutely need to check this place out. Best vegan/vegetarian Chinese ive ever eaten, and as a former meat eater I don't crave meat at all. Much better cooking than Wu Tan Scran and I will choose this place time and time again! So underrated, the food is always freshly cooked. I tend to get a sweet and sour dish, have had both the 'fish and chicken' options as well as black bean, satay and salt and pepper- all delicious!

This is the real deal! Some of the best Chinese food I’ve ever tasted - Light, not greasy or over-sticky. Great flavours, proper scouse-chippy portions and genuinely wouldn’t know it wasn’t meat.

This chippy is incredible. Me & my partner are plant-based and this place hits the mark. They even have a substitute chicken & sweet corn soup that tastes just like the non-substitute version. The salt & pepper fish sub is the star of the show for me! We've had more than 15 items on the menu so far and they're all very high quality, this business is just like authentic takeaway. Great job!!
