A lovely spot to dip your toes in the water, walk barefoot on the beach or clamber over the rocks. At low tide you can see the wreck of a 100 year old sailing ship rising up on the shoreline. Lots of grass to park up and picnic on too. Great for dogs as well as there is a freshwater source which runs down from the hillside through the rocks onto the beach

Nice beach with an interesting shipwreck. Good parking and toilet facilities. When the tide is out you can go for long walks out towards the sea.

A great little beach. Plenty of parking - the car park doubles as a picnic area. This is a sandy beach - although there are some pebbles. There is also a rocky area for rock-pooling. Check tide times before visiting as the tide can go out a long way. There are public toilets and very little else - but that's part of the charm.

No overnight parking or camping signs on display but clear evidence of people ignoring them. I arrived in my motorhome with the hope of sleeping there, but the signage deterred me. For anyone undeterred by the signage, the ground in the parking area is very uneven. Levelling out your camper even with good ramps would be an impossible task.

The walk (starts a little further up the road) through the woods to the viewpoint is stunning!

Great open grassed area right next to a beach. Parking is free and plenty of room even on busy days. There is a public toilet situated at the far right of the beach. A great place to enjoy time with children or just the dog. It is a dog friendly beach just check the tide times as it is on a tidal estuary and goes out a very long way.

The beach seems smaller than it used to be. The tide did come in quick. The car park is now bigger than the beach. At least it has toilets and free parking.

Lovely sheltered Beach with a lot of grassy parking, perfect for a picnic either with or without the sand.

Beautiful place... Please if you go keep it this way do not leave any litter at all. There are toilets set back on the carpark. Picnic benches dotted about on a grass area. If I had to use 3 words to describe they would be idyllic, unspoilt and peaceful. It was dusk so photos not very good

A beautiful spot!! Great for kids & the dog climbing over the rocks exploring, just be mindful & keep clear of the softer sandy parts nearer the wreck

Dhoon beach has a 100+ year old wooden ship wreck that is exposed at low tide. Great beach....toilets when in season. Car parking. Great for beach combing.

Somewhere to park, where you can get to edge of beach in a wheelchair (if you don't mind slightly rough ground). Lovely quiet beach, wild birds in trees at the edges, great for dog too. Bench overlooking beach & a couple of picnic tables on a sizeable grassy area. Toilet block with accessible toilet & toilet paper & hand towels - wow!

Nice cove with clean toilet block, spoilt slightly by someone playing music too loud from their campervan.

Great little beach area. It's great for taking the dogs and paddling in the sea. Just beware of going near the wreck when the tide is out due to quick sand in that area

Not a bad beach, the tide goes out for miles..., Some rock pools to explore. A clean tidy beach.
