Hi I stepped into this place last night and I'll never return the person behind the Bar was one of the most rudest persons I've ever come across. Just the way I saw greeted and next you decide to throw my money at me and keno tickets I'm there for a beer if its not for people like me you place would be shut. Management need to get rid of this person. I was actually insulted by this person. And a bloody smile would help mate

Brilliant pub, throwback to I don't know when but amazing and worth a trip. Definitely visit "the burrow" out back. Beautiful and void of irony. Go there and see it.

Just love this pub.... love the ppl that goto it an the staff. eveytime I leave I'm leaving with a smile. I have to say it's the only pub ill goto in ipswich. An as for the negative reviews don't listen to them because the staff are always friendly an respectful they are always welcoming an are always there to try cheer you up even when your at your lowest so THANK YOU!!! prince of wales an staff for all the times I've been there an felt down but some how made me feel welcomed an happy by time I left 💜 💪😁👌

No meals served here but if you want a cold, quiet beer to be alone with your thoughts then this is the bar sit at.

This place it’s weird as, they need to do something about this place, I feel embarrassed just to look in the window. It’s like your stepping back 40 years ago. Nothing has changed. A make over or a knock down probably wouldn’t make a difference.

Love the PoW. Great classic Ipswich pub decor, green wall tiles, ornate but old ceiling and a u-shaped bar in the public bar area. Good crowd of regulars from around the area sit at the bar and occasional blow-ins such as myself. There are regular raffles and toss-the-boss deals at times throughout the week, and a social club too. Schooner of gold is about $5.40 I think.

Everything about this pub is amazing.

One of the best pubs in Ipswich. Sometimes it can be daunting walking into an old pub, but not the Prince of Wales. Excellent bar staff and an unreal atmosphere. Get in early to get a seat and tickets for the raffles

Used to the one of the best venues for live music. Sadly no longer. They run a goose club weekly so that's something entertainment worthy.
