Worst hotel experience I've had. First day I was met with a lady that seemed rather impatient to my poor French, but all right, it happens. Room has a strong smell, and the wifi never worked, the place is very noisy and you can hear people screaming and walking on the hallways. Second day I was woken up by cleaning personnel at around 9:30 am, as she opened the door. Next day at around the same time and as I was taking a shower I heard somebody knocking on the door. I opened as soon as I could, and the lady from the first day very snarkly asked if I was deaf because I wasn't answering the door, in a bad mood she said it was cleaning room time and that the next day (my last) I had to be out by 10 exactly, as if sleeping late or staying in my room in the morning was somehow a problem. There were no 'no disturb' signs available. Locarion is ok, but public transportation in Bordeaux is very good anyway. I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody, rude staff and not good rooms, I don't see how they are still in business.

I didnt sleep well. Bite by mosquitoes all night and i was on 2nd floor. There are just obvious things that need updating. They were fast in beginning. But once in the room they should provided mosquito spray and or fans and or screen for window. I don't leave reviews much but if you have a kid or romantic night planned forget about it. GO MESQUITE SPRAY ASAP!

I slept in this hotel for two nights. The location is amazing, it's twenty minutes walking distance from the city center. It's old but clean. Price for one night it's cheap so it's good for a quick stay, but no longer than two nights because the place is very old and not very comfortable, from bed to toilet.

Good points: very central, cheap, mostly comfortable beds etc. Cons: decor is old school at best, no light in bathroom so had to shower in the dark, no ventilation in room, mosquito central at night, reception is like a ghost town at all times and is not really manned. Mystery doorbell to get in. Gains a star due to cost and low expectations that come with the territory. Fine as a base for weekend mainly spent out and about, but no brownie points.

Location is good, however furmiture is old and cleaning conditions are far to be good. On top on this, it's overpriced. You can find way better options around.

Charming hotel with very friendly staff. It’s not glam or modern but is clean and well located. Very authentic Bordeaux hotel, original and also traditional.

Very nice hotel in the centre of the city. Not some bland corporate chain, and all the better for it.
