The room itself was adequate. The sheets and blankets had cigarette burns on it and the bathroom was small. There were exposed wires in multiple places and the hallway seemed like it came out of a horror movie. The lights can be turned on if you press a lit up button on the wall. The only saving grace from this hotel was the friendly staff and delicious breakfast spread. I was expecting more from the money I spent.

There are a lot of good things in this hotel. The staff are amazing, there are nice common areas, the breakfast is nice, there is a tram stop right outside the hotel, there is parking at reasonable rates, there is 24 hours service and there is an English speaking channel in the TV. But a hotel without wardrobes in the rooms is not a hotel for me. Also the rooms are very, very small. There is no space to open your small case, never mind if you have 2 cases. The gym is small, only 2 machines.

A nice modern establishment in a convenient location. Clean and curated. Front desk team was helpful and housekeeping were stars! Breakfast was lovely. The only disappointing part was the size of the room but we knew and eventually this cannot change. If though were a bit bigger would be perfect.

We stayed for one night in a cocoon room. The location is very handy - near the railway station and on the tram line into town. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The room was small but this is not a secret! However it was well thought out and made good use of the space. The shower was powerful, the bed was comfy, the pillows were fluffy and the air-conditioning was effective. It was also very clean with a hairdryer and shower gel provided. The breakfast was fab! A great choice of continental options all of high quality - honeycomb, freshly squeezed orange juice etc all available and quickly replenished. The public areas of the hotel are bright and comfortable. I wouldn't stay with a fortnight's luggage but it's great for a night or two.

One star is still too much. This is the worst hotel I ever used. Elevator and halls are in a ugly state, the rooms are tiny and just disgusting! Chewing gum at the bed, the former white walls are covered with dirt and scratches, nothing is really cleaned. The breakfast is minimalist. The staff does not speak English, only at the reception they speak some words. Also be careful with the payments, they try to trick you and make you pay twice for breakfast or parking!!! Yes, it’s very cheap, but trust me, this is not worth it at all!!!

As I was stranded & desperate & it was past midnight this hotel came as a god send & it was at least €30 cheaper than anywhere else! But @€60 was still way out of my price range but I was desperate & that price didn’t include Breakfast 🤔My Room was basic with stained carpet & walls my en suite was old/battered the floor was coming up & you had to hold the shower head which was sat in the sink😂& the shower curtain was hanging off🤪 But the staff were brilliant & the Manager Lionel was extremely helpful & even stored my cycle & bag till it was time to collect them😇 So my advice To the company that owns the chain is Spend some money on the place to bring it up to standard🤠

Worst hotel I've stayed in so far. Insects on the night stand, dust in every corner, paint coming off the walls, the rooms smell strongly, dirt stains everywhere. It really is an awful experience. The only positive is, that it truly forces you to get outside and see the city.

Gross, some lights do not work, escalator looks like it can break down any minute(the linoleum of the floor is hanging loose), walls are filled with dirty spots and so is the floor/carpet. The beds are obviously old mattresses that are definitely past their best. The hallways and rooms smell like cigarette smoke. Worst money ever spend!

The hotel is a bit old and the rooms and bathroom are really small but the price of the room is really good when compared to other hotels. Fresh towels every day. Very friendly staff.

It's a 2 star hotel, not the Ritz Carlton. Cute, clean, small nautical themed rooms and Internet only available in the lobby. We are here to see the sights, not to sit in our room. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a bottle of our own wine in the lounge / lobby.

Dirty stains all over the floor and carpet, felt like it was crawling with muck. Not sure when the last time the duvet covers were cleaned, bathroom very shoddy. You can't even go outside without leaving the key at reception.

Great place to stay in Bordeaux. The hotel is full of surprises. There are many additional services and useful features - the spaces on the first floor are free to use for our purposes, like work, food, conversations etc. Moreover, there is the bar, where you can order delicious Bordeaux wines. If you do not want to use the bar it is not a problem you can bring your own food and drinks and the staff will provide you all necessary accessories, like dishes spoons, forks etc. And this is not all. Visit them and you can ensure yourself. The city center is in close access by foot. This place is recommended for every one who will travel to Bordeaux.

Our stay at Hôtel LIFE BG exceeded all expectations. The hotel is perfectly located, with a metro stop right in front and close proximity to the city center. The rooms are incredibly pleasant, beautifully decorated, and generously sized. The breakfast provided is delicious, and there is the option to purchase food from outside and enjoy it in the hotel, with a microwave available for heating. Furthermore, the hotel offers amenities such as ping-pong, a gym, and a wide selection of board games. For me, it is the ideal hotel, whether for work or leisure, whether alone or with family.
