I wouldn't waste your time. When I walked in and saw only Icelandic staff, and a Chinese chef it shoulda occured to me that this "Indian curry" restaurant would have been cooking off Google Recipe books. 8000 krona, for two BELOW average curries that were barely warm and heavily salted (not sure how you oversalt a tikka but they managed it). They had the audacity to only bring over 1 rice because they thought we was gonna share?! Naaaah I didn't just pay 8000k for 2 lil pots of supermarket curry sauce and to share a boil in the bag rice KMT. Overpriced, poor quality, and the decor looked like it was far from finished.

This is a good Indian restaurant. In my experience, the staff was very helpful, competent, and kind. The service was prompt and efficient. The food was tasty and delicious. The restaurant is a bit outside of the downtown area of the city of Reykjavik and has plenty of parking space available. I guess if you are staying in one of the nearby hotels, you will give this eatery a go. This place also offers take out and delivery.

Oof. What to say about this place. Food is not bad, but it doesn’t really taste like authentic Indian food. Naan is not properly made. The wrong rice is used to accompany the food. The technique used to prepared the dish is on point. Samosa came out crispy with juicy pieces of lamb. Chicken was tender. However, the spices and flavoring is really not there. Food is also definitely on the pricier side.

Stayed at a hotel just across the way and decided to try this place for lunch. I ordered their lunch Thali that gave me a selection of various dishes. They post what's in their daily Thali on the wall behind the counter. It was a solid meal, with a wide range of flavors. I was actually disappointed the food wasn't more spicy, but still decent and enjoyed it. The service was great, friendly and the price was very reasonable with the amount and quality of the food.

BEST IN CLASS! By far the best Indian food I have ever had. I asked for mine to be spicy and spicy it was! I got the THALI and was not sure what to expect but when it came 🤯😍😍😍 the colors were just so appetizing and beautiful to look at. And the meal did not only look good, it was delicious!!!!

Great food. The taste was that of home cooked food. The items were delivered in a tiffin box which was a nice touch (I used to carry one in my school days). I wish they served some pickle with the thali. Looking forward to another visit. Highly recommended.

Quite expensive but worth it, the food was well prepared and the ingredients felt very good quality wise. The distance between India and Iceland definitely didn't affect the authenticity of this restaurant. It was an incredible culinary experience, i rarely award 5 out of 5 stars.

No and Never!! 1. Mango lassi, that's not lassi. Who in the world adds mint leaves and grind them with mango! In mango lassi? Add bit of salt That's a chatni. 2. The veg thali. This is some food but not authentic. I am not talking about hot or spice. There is no flavour.! Literally no flavour. People are really friendly. Everything is really great except the food. I don't recommend this place. Imagine, after one sip of mango lassi, i didn't took anymore of it. I just left it as it was given. Just some food that's all.. I don't say it is Indian.

Not at all Indian food. Was very bland. We ordered the Thali and food was just meh! Not sure why they call it Indian food, it had zero spices in it. Service is 2/5. We had to get our own water to serve ourselves. Kind of expensive, so price 2/5.

I had the Chana Masala & naan with oil & garlic and I have only three things to say: I’m stuffed!!! It was delicious!!! I’d come again!!!

😐 I'm guessing my previous opinion doesn't apply anymore, so little update. Ordering your kebab now - you're going to get half empty tortilla. Picture should say it all. Not fair at all. Tasty and not expensive. Even tho I came at lunch time and the place was full of people I got my take out order re...
