I
suffer
from
cervical
spondylosis
since
the
last
4-5
years.
I
have
been
on
various
allopathy
drugs
for
managing
the
pain
in
the
cervical
area,
however
the
pain
keeps
recurring
after
the
dosage
of
the
medicine
stops
after
the
stipulated
period.
It
becomes
difficult
to
carry
on
through
the
day
with
the
niggling
pain.
I
had
heard
about
acupuncture
therapy
and
also
was
aware
of
a
close
relative
going
through
this
kind
of
alternative
drug
less
treatment.
After
speaking
with
the
said
relative
to
understand
the
steps
involved
in
the
acupuncture
treatment
(just
for
general
knowledge)
I
searched
for
acupuncture
clinics
‘near
me’
and
came
across
a
clinic
called
‘Grasping
the
Wind’
owned
by
one
Dr.
Shashank
Pradhan.
The
name
of
the
clinic
intrigued
me
and
I
visited
the
doctor
at
the
clinic.
The
doctor
looked
at
my
MRI
reports
and
pursuant
to
discussions
with
me
about
the
current
status
of
neck
pain
and
a
sudden
occurrence
of
a
tingling
sensation
in
my
right
arm
connected
with
the
cervical
area,
suggested
a
20
day
acupuncture
treatment
course
for
alleviating
the
same.
Upon
starting
the
course
of
the
treatment,
within
the
first
week
itself,
I
experienced
a
substantial
relief
from
the
tingling
in
my
right
arm.
As
the
treatment
progressed
a
sense
of
well
being
has
taken
over
and
the
tingling
sensation
is
alleviated.
The
doctor
has
also
suggested
some
neck
and
shoulder
exercises,
some
minimal
manageable
change
in
food
habits
(w.r.t
my
ailment)
and
to
maintain
an
active
lifestyle.
Dr.
Pradhan
applies
his
learning
and
wisdom
in
the
treatment
of
his
patients.
This
is
the
one
of
the
best
clinics
in
the
area.
