Nature information centre is near Main gate of Sanjay Gandhi National Park adjoining western express highway in Borivli ,here you can get information of whole of the national park and activities which are available to nature lover eg shilonda trail,gomukh trail,Ashokvan trail,adjascent to this is Brandits park also called butterfly garden .

Nature Information Centre of SGNP- Borivali is really a good place for Tourists and Wildlife Enthusiasts. This place has got a Control room where all the Trails and Upcoming events are discussed and shared. There's a AV room for presentation purpose which can accommodate around 70 people. There is a 3D model of the Park. One can go through a Gallery of images of all key species that can be found in Maharashtra.

NIC is doing good work by conducting various activities in Sanjay Gandhi National Park. On 5th June 2019 we went for World Environment Day Marathon in Sanjay Gandhi National Park which was organised by NIC. It was for children age between 6 to 16 and my kid enjoyed it. They organise different types of activities around the year.

This Nature Information Centre is a area in National Park dedicated to different types of plants and natural resources but specially forest plants and all those which is there in SGNP. so if you visit Borivali then it's obvious to go to SGNP and if you are here then you should rome here also. I've been to this place multiple times to cycle till the Kanahari caves. You should start early morning and can rent a cycle or take a walk. Cycles are easy to rent with both official and private vendors available. Official rate is rs80 for 2 hrs but private vendors take rs80 per hour. Recommend Going upto the Kanahari caves which has a small fee of rs25 per person.
