We went with really high expectations but it didn’t live up to it. The one star that I’m giving is for the dal that they have. None of the management wears masks. No social distancing is followed as well. We tried the below: Nihari - 1/5 This had boneless pieces in it. Didn’t taste good as well. Was very oily and the pieces were raw. There was no nalli pieces in it. Chapati -4/5 It was amazing but was served cold. Vegetable Sabzi -0/5 It was spoilt. Tasted very bad. Informed the management and they agreed but said only the one we served you was bad. Dal -5/5 The only thing we enjoyed here. Rest all was not at all up to the mark. Hope they improve their quality. I’m never going back again. Very disappointed.

Quite amazing mughlai food here at a very affordable rate.. chicken seekh kabab although a little less portion was really very tasty paired with mint leaves, lemon, mint sauce .. 90/- mutton Afghani comes in nice and tasty red Gravy with omlette and 3-4 good pieces to go with it... 220/- tawa chapati goes nicely with all above .. 17/- they have a very wide menu with shawarmas, chinese, biryanis etc . also nice choices for sweet dish items as well.. definitely recommended place

Gulshan Restaurant left me utterly delighted with the most amazing seekh kabab I've ever had. The flavors were simply out of this world, and their roti was the perfect accompaniment. The mutton curry was a standout, truly exceptional. Despite being a crowded restaurant, I was pleasantly surprised that I could secure a seat quite quickly. A must-visit for those seeking delectable flavors and a warm ambiance!

Had visited this place years back but when I went today this place was completely changed, the quality of the dishes have degraded here. I can't understand when there are so many orders daily, the chicken they served to us in Chicken Afgani was stale and it had a distinct taste and was really bad they gravy was good. Chicken Afgani 1/5 ⭐ It is a red gravy dish with shredded chicken and garnished with shredded boiled egg. Butter Tandoori roti 4/5⭐

The place is good and not expensive. Biryani was nice, the food was delicious and tasty. The staff was good, they were treated well, the place was a bit crowded. If you are a non-veg lover I recommend a must visit and enjoy Nihari, butter chicken, tandoori, and Biryani. The overall experience was satisfying, but they only accept cash. So bring cash with u.

To start with their kalakhatta downstairs is awesome. Their food especially the non-veg is really good. Starting from mutton biryani is really super and the kababs are very good. Very soft and tasty. The Nalli Nihari was tasty too. The prices are reasonable and the ambiance is good too. In the afternoon it was very crowded so one may need to wait for a while to get a table. But it's worth it and service is also fast. Will definitely visit again and try their other dishes too.

Delicious Food. I ordered a Green Salad & Chicken Tiranga Tikka Platter. The Salad was fresh seasoned. Chicken Tikka was absolutely beautiful. It was perfectly charred on the outside and soft in the inside. It just melted in my mouth. Every bite was filled with a burst of Flavour. The rates are reasonable. A Must Visit Restaurant if you're in the Crawford Market Area!

Famous restaurant in Crawford Market. Prime location. Usually packed. Waiting period. Serves delicious food. Nothing fancy in the ambience. Quick meal. Reasonable pricing. My go to place to satisfy my hunger.

From childhood i used to visit this place to have a food. I have tried breakfast today but it was not good in taste and not hygienic as well. Waiter was very rude first while taking an order. I think it's overpriced as well, so need to find alternate restaurant in that area.

I went to this place to eat recently, and the food was really yummy, and the service was super good. Plus, the prices were affordable. If you're with your family, you can sit upstairs, otherwise, just grab a seat downstairs. I ordered the chicken leg tikka and butter naan, and they were not only delicious but also easy on the wallet. I wanted to try their mutton keema, but they were out of it. By the way, I walked there from the train station, following Google Maps, but it took me through a smelly meat market, and it was kinda gross. So, I'd recommend finding a different way to avoid that unappetizing scene.

One of the oldest places in Bombay for delicious cuisines, grills, and sweet.. I've been visiting this place for so long and it never disappoints me.. Just one draw back is the roti/butter naan are very thick.. Otherwise the gravies and starters are mouth watering.. Prices are very reasonable 👍

We visited this place on one evening of the weekday. The food was really fantastic the quantity and quality were really good. The size of roti is bigger than other restaurants. The only thing that was going against them is being served everything hurriedly. They offer us comfortable seating within 5 minutes as well as served starter and main course together, which was not acceptable.

This is one of the most recommended and a bit overrated non-vegetarian restaurant in Mumbai. The food tastes delicious but the quantity is less. You might need to wait most of the time, seating is a bit congested and there is a very small dining table. They really need to improve the service, half of the staff is rude and don't listen or walk away. Please note that this place is cash only and they don't accept anything other than cash.

Really nice experience here. We ordered palak paneer and Dahl with garlic naan. The waiter dished out our food for us. The place is a little rough and ready but you get over that for the price of the food which is really excellent.

I've been a loyal patron of Gulshan E Iran since my childhood and have always enjoyed my visits. However, my recent experiences have been nothing short of a nightmare. In the past week, I dined at the restaurant three times, and each visit left me deeply unsatisfied. First and foremost, the issue with the water service was incredibly disappointing. The staff consistently served what they described as "mild cold water," but in reality, it was anything but cold. On my most recent visit (Sunday, October 16, 2023), I inquired about the water's temperature and was told that the refrigerator was not working. This revelation was concerning, and I asked for ice cubes to at least make the water cooler. To my dismay, the manager initially refused my request and only reluctantly provided a meager amount of crushed ice after a lengthy argument. It was disheartening to see such reluctance in serving customers. To add to the frustration, the payment process was equally troublesome. I was shocked to learn that the restaurant only accepted cash and did not offer UPI or card payment options. In this day and age, where digital transactions are not only convenient but also the norm, it was a major inconvenience to find out that cash was the sole method of payment. This left us with no choice but to rush to the nearest ATM to withdraw cash, which was a considerable inconvenience and tainted our entire dining experience. I believe it's essential for businesses to inform customers about such limitations beforehand to prevent any unpleasant surprises. In conclusion, my recent visits to Gulshan E Iran have been extremely disappointing. While I have fond memories of dining at your establishment, these recent experiences were far from satisfactory. I sincerely hope that these issues are addressed promptly to ensure a more pleasant experience for future patrons. As an avid customer who has enjoyed many meals at your restaurant over the years, I am disheartened by this recent turn of events and hope for a positive change in the future.

One of the best non veg restaurants in Bombay. I've visited this place a total of 3 times and every single time I've had the best experience. The nalli nihari, seekh kabab, Chicken tikka masala, Biryani, Tandoori roti are just droolworthy. More importantly the rates are fair and you totally get your money's worth if not more. And the desserts too are simply amazing. We had tried the rabri kulfi and falooda both equally delicious. Believe me, this is huge coming from me, a native of Hyderabad which is basically a foodie's heaven.

    > I have been seeing Gulshan-E-Iran since years but never had anything there. > This time when I went to the Manish market we had lunch at Gulshan-E-Iran. 😍 > The ordered Saturday's chicken special on their recommendation and rotis along with it. 🤤 > The quantity was great and was quite affordable too. > We paid 300-350/- for both the items. > The service was great and quick but the entire hotel was super crowded and generally is this much crowded. > It's famous for all it's mughlai food and I would recommend you trying their food at least once if you are near Manish Market. 👍🏻

A very pleasant place to go for a family meal good ambience. The ground floor is usually full on the upper floor there is a small Ac section with about 8 tables only. The section is not very cool but staff especially the captain Akhil was very cooperative. The malaitikka has mayonnaise So those who like me are not big fans of it be careful.they immediately took it back without a murmur and we got tikka achari instead.the biryani was okk but the best thing was rabri kulfi so also the shahi tukda with rabri is laajawab so those who have a sweet tooth this is a must

One of the standout dishes at Gulshan-e-Iran is their chicken tikka, which is cooked to perfection and has the perfect balance of spices. Their Butter chicken is also a must-try with its rich and creamy sauce that complements the tender chicken perfectly. One thing to note is that Gulshan-e-Iran is a budget-friendly restaurant, which makes it a popular choice among locals and visitors alike. However, this also means that the place is usually crowded and busy, especially during peak hours. The seating arrangement may be a bit cramped, but the friendly staff and delectable food more than make up for it. Overall, if you're looking for an affordable and authentic Persian dining experience in a bustling environment, Gulshan-e-Iran is definitely worth a visit. Their butter chicken and falooda are definitely not to be missed!

Not Good for taste and quantity wise.I am visiting this place since my father's time, however,it's just haven't maintained its food quality now, nor taste, alike earlier. The food, we have ordered, was extremely oily, not special taste, nor fragrance. Very Basic Gravies, No Authentic Taste. We have ordered for Butter chicken (basic chicken gravy with boneless chicken) and Salli Boti (in which Boti was not even visible, but mutton keema kinda chunks). The quantity was sooo less, it was not even sufficient for one person. Fresh Lime Soda was not Good too. We can prefer drinking from outside of this hotel(Goti Soda). For the name sake, running restaurant, Not recommended! Request to please upgrade your kitchen staffs, as people are expecting alot from you. Restaurant Ventilations were very poor. Suffocative to sit for meal. Staffs and Attendants were good.

Really tasty food and super friendly staff. We went during Ramadan at night and it was busy. We still didn’t had to wait and got a table in the AC area. The chicken leg Biryani and the Kebab and sweet lassi was delicious!

The restaurant is at the heart of city Chatrapati Sivaji Maharaj Terminus Railway Station. It is one of the authenticated Irani restaurant which serves good quality and good taste food. They have very minimum rates compared to other restaurants. The staff is too co-operative and very friendly. Must visit once in lif if u visit mumbai. They mainly focus on non veg, but they too have veg option. Veg option is minimum but tastes good.

    * Great place near CST station * - This place is usually full and has a good separate family section. - I am visiting this place for after quite few years and can tell that the quality and taste of the food is bit compromised. - The price is pocket friendly. Dishes ordered and rating 1. Chicken tikka - 3/5 ( don’t order as it taste very normal ) 2. Murg Badami - 3/5 ( something new for taste but very sweet ) 3. Butter naan - 4/5 ( size is comparatively small from other restaurants) 4. Chicken peshawari tikka - 2/5 5. Tawa roti - 1/5 ( please don’t order this

"I recently visited Gulshan-e-Iran restaurant and was blown away by the amazing food and service. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, with beautiful decor and comfortable seating. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was simply outstanding, with a wide range of delicious dishes that were cooked to perfection. The flavors and aromas were simply mouth-watering, and I could not have asked for a better dining experience. Overall, I highly recommend Gulshan-e-Iran to anyone looking for a great meal.

Gulshan E Iran is an affordable restaurant. The location is also quite convenient for everyone to reach. The staff at work are polite, highly active and respond very well. They cater a large variety of cuisines. The waiting time is quite low. The food is tasty and at the same time the price is not at all high.
