My Kudos to Mr. Save who has worked this land in close collaboration with the locals. His introduction to herbs and its applications was invaluable. It was my first time at an Eco-tourism hotel; thanks to our friends Viren and Archana for taking us on this trip. The set up is out of the world really speaking. A great get-away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The tour of the 32 acre self transported from hotel on a tractor wagon to a truly self-sustaining organic farm by one of the associates was enlightening. Right from harvesting rain water to increasing the water table thus helping neighbouring farmers to benefit as well. The technique of Grafting to enhance plant longetivity and much more. The entire experience was memorable! Highly recommend this trip! We drove from Mumbai. But you can also take the train.

We have been to day picnic yesterday. Me and my kids age 2 & 8 enjoyed the farm tour and the ambience thoroughly. The guide explained the entire farm activities and plantation very beautifully. Food was homecooked and the entire staff was very humble. I strongly recommend this place for family outings. Your kids will thank you..:)

Very cool place. Veg food is so tasty. They are using fresh organic vegetables. Farm tour is informative. Activities are also nice. Service is very good. I went with my husband to celebrate anniversary. Whatever I wanted for celebration they had arranged all so nicely. Arrangement of breakfast, lunch & dinner is also nice. You can get Non-veg food but on prior information. Overall all experience is too good. Don't forget to buy chikoo......Go for it.....

If you are looking for a homely stay then it's the right place for you. There is a small garden with slide, swing and beach sand for kids to play. The food is basic but preparation is good and homely. Bordi beach is 2 kms away from the area. The staff is very good and will prepare food on request if you want anything specific to eat. No alcohol or loud music which is the best part if you are going with your family.

Awesome experience. Something to be done with family. Those who want there kids to show eco-tourism with how farming is interesting and the possibility. You take your family . At least two families will be fun. It's 2.5. Drive from dahisar toll. Drive to the place is smooth. Roads Re good to last turn. For fast guys one night stay is sufficient. Two nights would be for leisure. Getting into it makes you feel that it's worth it. Booking is straight. Pay 50%. Food is inclusive. Rooms are of different category. For family of 4 shetkari niwas is good. It's kush green 32 acres. Rooms good. All facilities bed, a.c, hot water. Near and clean. Though the best to be max is outside in varanda. Swing, sitting areas , garden . Area for kids to play. Swimming pool. All kind of trees, some pets, rabbit, emu, ducks etc. Totall organic food. There is a tour of the vegetation ( do not miss this), sports event, pottery. Food is simple very good. Get up early and hear all voices of the birds and bees too. See my video. In free time you can go to Bordi beach near by This is a passion place . It awesome you can visit and appreciate. It's of Great value.

Food 3 pure veg with limited options can get nonveg on request. Rooms 3.5 limited options Bamboo huts are good and clean. Location 3.5 as it's a big 32 acres farm, with engaging farm tour with lots of activities and information on plantation Pool 3 not that big, kids can enjoy in it and need to be cleaner. Staffs are locals and well behaved 3.5 Pottery for kids is good and you can plants and veggies from the farm. Overall ratings 3.7

This is a farm stay giving you the experience to be close to nature. It has 32 acres of farm and it is one of the oldest nursery in Thane region. They give you 1.5 hour of tour of the farm. You can do some activities here. You can try your hand in Pottery making. Rooms are very well designed. There is no room service here. Don't expect too much luxury here. They cultivate Chikoos. GI certification of Ghovad Chikoos is held by Maharashtra Rajya Chikoo Utpadak Sangh The fruit is known for its sweet and unique taste. It is believed that the unique taste is derived from calcium rich soil of Gholvad village.

Have visited here thrice, but from now I don't think we should visit here coz overall it has become worst then before. In terms of foods, service, activities it was below par and Maintenance wise also garden area, pond area, rooms and overall location was not found as good as before. Even We visited just after the lockdown as well & that time they said that maintenance is not possible due to(lack of staff) COVID time. But in recent visit also we had same experience. Very poorly maintained.
