Not only are they a wonderful way to spend a day, but I love discovering new food and products, especially from small passionate producers. First time I visited this festival and it’s totally worth the time. I will recommend this festival for sure who love to try variety of food and artwork.

Me and my friend visited Chikoo Festival (Bordi) on 3rd Feb 2019 and I would like to recommand everyone to visit this festival once. The event was well organized with stalls of handicarfts and other useful items for people of all ages. Some of the interesting items we found was sweets and cholclates of chikoo flavour, paintings and lamps for house decoration, toys for kids etc. Most of the things sre home made and finishing of the products wer food. Food stalls were also good and both veg and non veg section was there in separate area. After lunch people can enjoy stage performances or spend time at Bordi beach, which is connected to Chikoo festival. The location and connectivity is very nice for the people who prefer train travelling, because it is just 10 minutes away from Gholwad station, and autos are frequently running during this festival, this year organized on 2nd and 3rd Feb 2019. People living in mumbai can take trains starting from Bandra to Gholwad, there are few local trains running between Bandra to Gholwad on hourly basis. If you are coming from national highway towards Gujarat, then take left from Charoti and straight way towards Chikoo festival, I would recommand must visit place beauce it is fun for people of all age groups.

Also you can stay in resorts or hotels near beach to spend more time at this place. It was an AMAZING experience going to the chikoo festival 2018. There were many cultural programs going on in every five minutes and information given about the place and the about the locals and the locality. The food was unbelievable it was reasonable as well as tasty. we tried the local seafood which was super delicious. Enjoying the local dance was a very different experience which you don't get to see in an urban where we live. The main attraction of this festival was the "chikoo" which was segregated in many different ways like milkshakes, kulfis, achars etc. and many more stuff. One must go to this festival every year to see and feel new things. The staff was also supportive and kind. The atmosphere was very lively which people of all ages can enjoy. Overall review: Excellent.

Awesome I would say, for this festival i traveled all the way from Mumbai. If i compare it with Mumbai (Kholi Versova Seafood Festival) this Chickoo festival is 5 times cheaper and good value for money. For seafood lovers it's like heaven. Freshly caught cooked in traditional home spices served hygienically is all you can get . These villagers have indeed managed it professionally , loved the shows and performances it , planning to visit it next year too , Awesome!

Its near to the sea, food center road and beach, nice place just avoid getting into water it's simply mud, your legs will drown into it.

Wonderful experience. Surely visiting there next year.

My chikkoo festival experience overall good,but very expensive product all retailer sell. ex. 10 chikko cost ovral 20-30 rs,and they Milk chhiko shake 200-300 rs.
