Aulia's grave complex is in the Gunungpring area, Magelang. It's called Gunungpring, maybe because it's located on a mountain and there are lots of bamboo trees, hehe. This place is really cool. Guaranteed to stay here for a long time. When you arrive here, there is a motorbike parking area on the left side of the road. It looks like a resident's house that doubles as a parking lot. It's cheap, only 2K. Park the bus/car across the street. To reach his grave, you have to climb a number of stairs, I don't know how many. You won't be so tired because on either side of the road there are lots of sellers of worship knick-knacks such as sarongs, prayer beads, batik clothes, headscarves, etc. The price for women's sarongs is around 30-60 depending on the type of fabric. It's smart for us to just bargain, hehe. Once you reach the top, you can go straight to the bathroom or the free ablution area provided in the mosque. There is also a paid one, located next to the mosque. At the grave site, Yasin and Tahlil books are also provided, there is also a Koran. So don't worry if you come here when you stop by and forget to bring your book. There is also an infaq box next to the grave, don't forget to fill it up 😊 There is also a prayer room here. For the princess, downstairs. Son upstairs. Her face is awesome. I just think it's not well maintained and not clean. The prayer room is still small, not spacious enough. There's still a queue when it's busy when you get there. BTW, pilgrims often get busy at night, you know. Happy religious travel 😊

Make a pilgrimage to the graves of the aulia in Gunungpring. To get to know the history of figures and spreaders of Islam in Magelang and its surroundings. Here lie the tombs of KH Dalhar, Kyai Raden Santri, and other aulia figures. It is better to visit here at night, because the pilgrimage will be more solemn and the air will be cooler. On either side of the road leading to the tomb, there are stalls of traders selling souvenirs and food.

One of the religious tourism in the Muntilan Magelang area. If you want to visit the grave, you can go through the west and east doors. The journey to the tomb can be reached by walking up the steps provided by the government. On either side, there are lots of people selling various kinds of souvenirs such as mortars, ulek-ulekan, bakpia and so on. The location of the grave is in 1 (one) complex. The atmosphere is cool because it is surrounded by bamboo or in Javanese it is called Pring.

The journey up the stairs is about 10 minutes from the bus terminal to the maqom waliyullah raden santri (Allahyarham) God's wrestling power. Waliyullah maqom raden santri We must always remember the history of the struggle for the spread of Islam in Magelang, by making a pilgrimage to his maqom we have appreciated his (Allahyarham) struggle, may through this pilgrimage gain the strength of his faith and Islam, as well as obtain blessings... We need to know that going around to the maqom waliyullah will be a wasilah for performing Hajj and Umrah... Amen

Religious tourism in the Muntilan area. In this area there is a complex of graves of Aulia, figures who spread Islam in the Magelang area and its surroundings. The location is easy to reach, there are lots of road signs to get to the location. To get to the grave site, we are required to walk up several hundred steps. There are two alternative routes to get to the tomb above, you can take the front route where along the route we are treated to many food and souvenir sellers. Meanwhile, the other route can be via the back route where along the route we will be treated to views of the right and left filled with pring trees or bamboo with a cool breeze. In the front parking area there are many sellers of cilok and skewered meatballs whose price per portion is only 5 thousand.

It's a pilgrimage site which is a cemetery of a few great Islamic religious figures. It start with a gate to stairs which lead to the main site. The cemetery is inside a building on a hill. I didn't go inside the building since I'm not a muslim. My friend did, and he said it has a big room inside. I heard peoples chanting prayer from outside. The place were clean and well kept although there was some ruins beside it. Maybe they were doing some restoration. There are also a few burial outside the building which might belong to local figures. There is also a small building where from I stood outside I could see books inside of it. Maybe a small library. A long the stairs there are many small shops selling clothes, crafts, religious books and DVDs, foods, and even some selling various traditional daggers and swords. I also see some beggars on the stairs. Parking is easy outside the gate for small busses. So a lot of group visits there. Overall it was a pleasant experience going there. I just wish there were some place to rest on the top of the hill after hiking so many stairs. But that's just me, a fat -never exercise- unhealthy me, LOL.

Thank God, the first time I visited Aulia Gunungpring's grave, my mind felt calmer. Climb every staircase while learning to know Islamic history more closely. Masha Allah, I hope I can come here again next timeπŸ₯Ί
