Was really a pleasant staying here on the weekend. Beside best the area this lovely property located, the room was so clean and comfortable.. I was so pleased with the service provided during my stay with other 20 guests of mine. Too short to enjoy the beauty of Borobudur area, Will certainly come back and stay longer next time! Maybe will try It's villa... Highly recommended to stay and enjoy the hospitality here. The Culinary experience was excellent, really :) Thanks so much for taking my group and I very well. We got Mas Agus as our butter ...

We had originally booked two hotels for our honeymoon. We spent the first three days here then moved on to the second hotel which was dreadful in comparison. I immediately got back in touch with the ever-present and helpful staff and not only did I get a villa that day I was also upgraded at no extra cost. The food was incredible, the staff friendly and the honeymoon was the best, exactly how I had hoped. We will return on our fourth anniversary.

Got into a bit of issue while checking in and had to wait until 3pm to finally enter the room, but had a great experience anyway. The room are old but clean and sufficient. Breakfast menu are a little different each day and most of them taste good. They also has a mini zoo in the back, but not well maintained. we can pet the rabbit and feed the deer there.

Visited this hotel for Business Trip. I am directly amazed by the beautiful scenery around the hotel places. The place is located near the Borobudur Temple, and it is surrounded by paddy fields. The hotel is well suited for spiritual vacation or wellness vacation, and for those who want to seek calmy and nature situations

A Timeless Escape at Plataran Heritage Hotel in Borobudur My recent stay at Plataran Heritage Hotel in Borobudur was nothing short of enchanting, as this hidden gem nestled amidst lush landscapes and rich cultural heritage offered a truly unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the hotel's charm, warm hospitality, and exquisite ambiance. The hotel's traditional Javanese architecture and design blend seamlessly with the surrounding natural beauty, creating an atmosphere of serenity and tranquility. The open-air lobby with its intricate wooden carvings and traditional decor provided a glimpse into the rich local heritage, instantly transporting me to a bygone era. The staff at Plataran Heritage Hotel were the epitome of warmth and professionalism. Their genuine smiles and attentive service made me feel like an honored guest, and their deep knowledge of the area helped me plan my exploration of Borobudur with ease. My room was a delightful sanctuary, elegantly furnished with a touch of local flair. The plush bed and modern amenities ensured a comfortable stay, while the private balcony afforded breathtaking views of the nearby paddy fields and the majestic Borobudur Temple in the distance. The hotel's dining experience was a journey of culinary delights. The on-site restaurant offered a delectable array of traditional Javanese dishes as well as international cuisine. I particularly enjoyed the signature dishes made from locally sourced ingredients, reflecting the hotel's commitment to sustainability and supporting local communities. The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the Plataran Borobudur Spa. Nestled amidst a lush garden, this sanctuary of relaxation offered an array of traditional Javanese spa treatments that rejuvenated both the body and soul. The skilled therapists and serene atmosphere created a truly indulgent experience. Beyond the hotel's premises, the central location allowed easy access to Borobudur Temple, one of the world's most impressive UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Watching the sunrise over the temple's ancient stupas was a magical and spiritual moment that will forever remain etched in my memory. In conclusion, Plataran Heritage Hotel in Borobudur is a true gem that offers a timeless escape where modern comforts meet traditional elegance. From the warm hospitality to the cultural experiences and breathtaking views, this hotel exemplifies the essence of Javanese charm and hospitality. If you seek a journey back in time while indulging in luxury, I wholeheartedly recommend Plataran Heritage Hotel for an unforgettable stay in Borobudur.

One of best hotel in Jogja area which have unique concept from Javanese tradition and Dutch Indies culture. This hotel is expensive but you will not regret it. They have great facility and special location (near to Borobudur temple and Merapi mountain). Plataran also offers many fun activities near to their area. I definitely would visit again in near future .

For me, a bit pricey for personal trip (good thing it was business-charged). The hotel facility wqa a bit minimal too, but other than that, all are decent, clean, and satisfactory.

Beautiful surroundings and very nice location near-by Borobudur temple. Sublime classic "Colonial" interior. Spacious deluxe rooms with neat bathroom. Outside terrace and restaurant area for a relaxed breakfast or diner.

Luxurious hotel with excellent service, located near Borobudur Temple. Room is good but the bed is little bit small. Breakfast provides local and western food. There is also afternoon tea every 4 PM with local snacks. Swimming pool has two depth for kids and adult. There are many daily activities for kids and different everyday, such as scavenger hunt, art and craft, animal feeding, etc.

Wonderful hotel with colonial style architecture, generous size and well appointed rooms and superb landscaping around it. Hotel is very well located very close to the Borobudur temple and they offer free shuttles to the temple three times a day. Good breakfast with local and international options. Three restaurants on site to choose from, we tried two of them (Stupa and Patio Colonial) and both were very good. Staff was courteous and helpful. We arranged airport transfers directly with them and they were very helpful and timely. Highly recommended while visiting Borobudur and Yogyakarta area.

Beautiful hotel, The facility is very good, but the service was just polite not friendly. And the food should be hot in breakfast section is cold. Feel not worth this price

This hotel looks awesome on the inside, mostly white (and black) not the usual top hotels’ boring grey or off-white marbles. If I have to guess, it’s a modern dutch-colonial-keratonish look. Well maintained and clean. Unfortunately, the pool is rather small; but on the plus side, it’s quiet as the hotel doesn’t have too many rooms. There’s not much going on nearby but there are lots of activity offerings you can purchase. Too secluded for my taste as I like to walk around where I stayed, but others may find it otherwise.

I just stayed here with my family last week. It was a great holiday, and we feel amazed with the hotel , the facilities, and great services from the hotel staff. When we arrived at the hotel, we fell in love with the view, and the hotel design was something different 😍. If you are bringing kids, this place was perfect. There's a mini zoo, mini carnival , can play badminton, basketball, and kids activities. Every day, there are afternoon tea sessions at rooftop, and if also the hotel provide many adventures activities services . You can rent VW car, horses riding, delman , ATV experience, and kids just loved to explore all these new things. Not to mention, the locations near borobudur only took 10 minutes from the hotel. Thank you, plataran Heritage borobudur, for giving us great experience and memories on this family holiday.

This hotel could be so much more amazing than it is. Before you enter the hotel, you are welcomed by 2 signs: 'do not sit here' and 'do not touch' [the antique car]. Welcome at reception lukewarm. Welcome in room: don't remove the water bottles, or you will be penalized. These are all valid instructions, but the tone is patronizing. The food at the hotel is ok but very limited in choice if you stay for a few days. The restaurant staff is sweet but not trained to the standard that the hotel tries to portrait.

Had a pleasant stay here and the place is homey. Unfortunately their cleaning service entered our room without knocking first by using their room card. How come they didn’t know that the guests were still inside, i didn’t even ask them to clean my room before.

Nice hotel with with greenery ambiance and javanese architecture. Recommended location to have vacation or just relaxing from busy activities. The location quite remote, please prepare your logistic in case you are not bring a vehicle. In addition there are several restaurants around the hotel, however the location is not walking distance.

The room is nice, great place for those who look for peace and quiet. I stayed at the room facing the mountain. Super beautiful view. Very clean room, Friendly staff. Food is ok. If they could offer more variety of food for vegetarian and vegan food also healthy food that would be amazing.

3 annoying things: - Noise. The hallways are not carpeted thus the sound of luggages, carts and even people walking can be heard vividly from the room, - Food. Hit and miss. The ayam hutan kota (their signature dish) is not really appetizing but the daun pepaya with teri medan is rather good (though a bit too salty). The iga kecombrang is so so and overall all food are pricey for the quality - Buffet. For 250K++/pax there should be more choice or better quality. 3 amazing things: - Service. Uber excellence. All staffs are very attentive to your need, - Free shuttle. We were there for the marathon and having a shuttle to drive us to the venue at 3 am is a blessing, - Spa. Amazing experience, the masseurs know their stuffs.

Did not dissappoint !! I chose this hotel because it's located near Borobudur and it's area is secluded. I ordered from their website and purchased a package that already includes early dinner at enam langit (such a coincidence because when I tried to make reservation by myself they said it's already full booked for the whole month), couple spa for 60 mins, cooking class and free pick up & drop off service for lantern festival on Vesak day (only for lantern festival). Their service was top notch, there was a butler that assigned to help with my request and offers necessary info, free drop off to Borobudur for all guest (you can use gojek/grab to get back to the hotel), free valet service, doorman that always ready to greet you, front desk staff that is available all the time (even at 4.30 am :D) I also tried their rooftop restaurant, Langit Menoreh. They serves alcohol drinks and price-wise it's same like restaurants in Jakarta so not really a surprise. I also curious about Stupa Restaurant, unfortunately my stomach couldn't handle all of the foods they offer. One thing that itch me is they don't use carpet in the hallway so you can hear the trolley noise when they clean the room or bring laundry, or when another room is check out. But you can always use ear plug (they provide this too!!) Hopefully I can come back next year for another Vesak celebration and trying another room.

Even though the location is quite far from the center of Jogja City, it's worth it; the room was comfortable, the staff super friendly and helpful, and I happened to try the fried rice (room dining), and it was good.......definitely will be back again to this place

Honestly for Hotel guest, area to be explored is so restricted even when you want to walking or running in the morning, maybe jogging track is just for the villa/resort guest only, so if you want to explore more and experience more about this area you better choose Villa/resort...😊

Our family first day in Plataran Heritage. Impressive venue, reserved as close to a nature. Great attentive services from the team. And the Indonesian food is authentic, and super delicious. My kids are happy to follow the outdoor program, both in the hotel compound & also going around to the village.

Me and my family enjoyed staying here. The hotel was as clean and bright as advertised. I love the balcony with direct view to the swimming pool. Magelang itself is a nice and chill small city, and we loved the fresh air of Magelang coming thru our room thru the window. The staffs were very welcoming, accommodating and helpful. Check in and check out was seamless. We also enjoyed the afternoon tea and the breakfast. The breakfast has so many options and they are all suit my taste bud. My mom and i are vegetarian and we have variety of meal to choose from. Perhaps the only thing that we regret is that there are not many decent restaurants nearby the hotel (except of course restaurant inside the hotel), so we had difficulties in finding lunch/dinner. Hotel’s restaurant is of course very nice and offers variety of meals, but it comes with a certain price as well.

Friendly staffs. The services can be a bit slow during high season although they have a lot of staffs. I loved the design, landscape & breakfast provided from this hotel. Would like to revisit during low season only.
